Every single particle in this room was in flames. For the first time since I became an undead, I felt heat emanating from my body. But this was no ordinary warmth, but carnage of souls. I looked around to find myself enclosed by dead bodies, devoid of essences. Hell was different from what I'd always thought it would be. My body filled slowly with anguish as I found the dead bodies coming towards my direction. I wanted to move, but I was powerless.
Those empty creatures held themselves to my legs, hastily going up to my arms, and at last, my neck. My breath was unable to come out in a lessening sigh, but somehow, I still felt as one of the vampires from the human world; I could not die, because I was already dead.
I pleaded in my head for those walking corpses to stop, but my thoughts couldn't reach them: it seemed my powers were futile. Right then, I just thought of one person; of one perfect boy who kept me fighting. Ethan had been my support. He had convinced me that life was worth something. Many times did the thought of burning under the sun's rays pass through my head, but always he said that for him I should stay breathing.
Just the thought of not being with him made me wretched. I wish that doomed door hadn't pulled me into the sun. Never did I think it would be the cause of my despair. It held a beautiful view of the shore, palm trees surrounding it, and such view never seemed like hell to me. At least...not until now.
****Even when you think you're going into the right path, it's not always like that. Every single thing you choose can change your life completely, and that's why always should reflect before acting. ****
