Yuri Plisetsky's P.O.V.
I love her and I wish she'd stay with me, but I know that won't happen. She's in love with another person, and if she's happy who am I to ruin her happiness.
"Yuri~," she calls out, her mahogany hair swaying slightly as she walks towards me.
"What do you want Amory?" I spit unlacing my skates.
"Can you come to my place for dinner? I want to hang out with my only friend."
"I'M NOT YOUR FRIEND!"
"I guess I don't have any friends then."
"Fine I'll come to your place for dinner. What time?" I ask slipping on my jacket and placing my phone in my pocket.
"Five-thirty. We're having Katsudon and Piroshky."
Time Skip: 5:15pm.
At Five-fifteen I start walking towards Amory's house. I can only hope my fans here in Russia don't find me otherwise I'll be late.
I'm walking through one of the market streets as a shortcut when I run into Otabek.
"Oh, hey Otabek."
"Yuri you look like you're in a hurry. Do you need some help?"
"It's ok Beka. One of my friends wants to have Katsudon and Piroshky, so I'm just heading there."
"Come with me. I'll give you a ride on my motorbike." "Just tell me the address."
"No thanks. I'll walk." I check the time on my phone. "Have to go Beka. Talk to you soon," I hastily speak jogging towards Amory's.
5:27pm
'Phew I made it before five-thirty. Now to knock on the door.'
Walking up to the door I see a small label in the middle saying 'Guiltern.' Knocking on the door loudly I hear a distant voice.
"Just a second!"
Amory opens the door with a bright smile, letting me into the warmth.
"Hey Guiltern since when did you put a label on your door?"
"It was a gift; now come on the Katsudon is ready and the Piroshky is not long behind."
'I wish this could last forever. Us being close friends and comfortable like this.'
"Yuri."
"Oh, right."
We head to the dining area where Katsudon is waiting for us on the table. Sitting down I notice there's both a fork and chopsticks. I pick up the fork and hear Amory's serious voice.
"Yuri. I'm going to have to inform you of this. You're probably going to hate me, and I would understand why." She takes a deep breath. "I know you like me as more than a friend. I'm smart enough to figure that out, but you're the only real friend I have. I don't want to lose you because of something so selfish. I cherish our friendship because friendships are important."
Finishing my mouthful of Katsudon I ask, "You're 17 Amory. Don't you want to live life properly? Mistakes and all?"
"I don't want to lose my only friend."
"Well now our friendship will be awkward."
'I'm not saying that you can't like me, I'm just saying that we have to remain friends."
"Ok so if we date and break-up we are still going to be friends."
"Yes, because if you can't tell I 'm stressing over how you're my only friend."
"Friendships are important."
"Exactly Yuri. Now finish your Katsudon while I check on the Piroshky."
