After Namjoon has ordered something that he wants in the counter, he immediately spotted Taehyung sitting by the corner all alone.
He brought his receipt with him and walked up to the table where Taehyung was sitting.
"hey"
"hey Namjoon"
"u-uh this is awkward for me to say but i didn't get your name"
"no no it's fine the name is Kim Taehyung, you can call me Tae a lot of my friends call me that"
"alright Tae, about you not being able to read at all—"
"it's embarassing? i know"
"it's not it's just that i was planning to teach you how to read now since we've met up again"
"you're really serious about teaching me how to read?"
"yeah, well not to brag but i have a good number for my IQ"
"and what's your IQ that you think is good"
"it's 148"
Taehyung's jaw dropped.
"wait, what?! you're serious??"
"yes i am serious about it"
"i straight up believe you, you don't need to prove to me that your IQ is really 148"
"and why is that?"
"you look smart, you act smart, and you ARE smart"
"heh, i guess so. anyways shall we start now?"
"sure!"
"let me just grab my phone real quick"
Namjoon grabbed his phone from his little sling bag that he is wearing. He turned it on and he pressed notes. He had many words there especially difficult ones.
"okay i'll read this for you"
He looked at his phone and read the word.

Namjoon showed Taehyung the word in his notes and he slowly taught him how to read that word.
"say egg first"
"e-egg..?"
"good, now say zam"
"zam"
"and then say, pul"
"pul"
"eggzampul"
"eggzampul...? i have a question"
"what is it?"
"how will this help me in reading it?"
"well pronouncing the word first is good so that you'll know that this is this letter and that letter is that letter, you get what i mean don't you?"
"yeah i mean it's good that i know the alphabet but i'm not sure if it's written like that kind of letter or something like that"
"ohh i get you, we'll get to that"
"o-okay"
"so, in the alphabet the first letter is A"
"yes it is"
Namjoon brought out a notepad and a pencil from his sling bag and he put it on the table.
Namjoon wrote the letter Aa. Both lowercase and uppercase.
"the right one is the small letter of A"
"and the left one is the big one?"
"yes, it is. you're learning quick"
"can i try to write it?"
"yeah sure but i should really hold your hand while you write it"
"u-uhm sure"
Namjoon got the pencil and gave it to Taehyung. Namjoon slowly put his hand on Taehyung's hand. Taehyung was nervous to write it but as soon as Namjoon put his hand on his he was feeling a bit confident.
Namjoon started to guide Taehyung on writing the uppercase and lowercase of the letter Aa.
"is this okay?"
He looked at Namjoon for approval.
"yes it does"
"can i tell you something?"
"yeah sure go ahead"
"i forgot how the letters looked like when it's written down because again, my mother couldn't really teach me how to read and write that much and i forgot most of it and it led me to not being able to read at all"
"oh, i see. shall we continue on?"
"yes"
