I went back to Alex's house and stopped at the door. None of the lights were on, I was suspecting he was home, but was sleeping, due to the fact of the car in the driveway. I started pounding on the door, but nobody answered. I rang the doorbell multiple times, still no response. Something inside of me must have worked up so much, that caused me to break the window and crawl in.
Alex runs out in his lounge pants and stood there and stared at all the broken glass. He yelled to me.
"KATIE. WHAT THE FUCK. DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?!"
I looked down at my watch, but I couldn't read it in the darkness, even with the moon shining through the hole in the wall. It must have been pretty late.
"I-I left something here. I need it for tomorrow." I stuttered.
"What did you leave? Let me help you look for it." he yawned and scratched his head.
"N-no.. I can look for it myself."
"Let me fucking help yo-"
"I CAN LOOK MYSELF YOU DUMBASS." I screamed at Alex.
Alex backed away. "H-hey.. calm down.. something doesn't seem right with you.."
I glared at him, and turned away quickly, leaving his house.
I didn't look back, at all. I just kept on walking, knowing he was watching me. I walked down the road a bit, until I hit the town. I looked around for somewhere that was open. "There." I said quietly.
