"Erin, somebody is here to see you," My mom called from downstairs.
"Alright! I'm coming!" I called back. I ran downstairs excitedly, and then saw Jordan standing in the family room.
"Oh! Hello Jordan!"
"Hey Erin! I decided to come say hi since I recently learned that we live only a few blocks away so yah."
"That's cool, hold on a second, I'll get your jacket."
As I ran up to my room, I began get super excited. My new friend lives only a few blocks away? this is great!
"Hey, how come you didn't just walk to school?" I asked him.
"I wanted to know where it was first," he said plainly, "I'm walking tomorrow."
"Speaking of which," my mom interrupted, "Jordan will be here 10 minutes before school starts to get you so you'd better be ready. "
