Zara Queens

Christmas came around once more and things have gotten much better. We were in the car alone, since the girls went to my brother's home. "What are you thinking about, baby?" He glanced at me with a slight smirk. "Nothing, love." He held my hand in his, giving it a kiss, focusing on the road. "I don't know what I would have done without you, Zara. You forgave me for all the shit that I did, I don't know who would do that but you kept me sane."

We finally pulled up to the building where the Christmas party was being held and like always, Theron was swept away by people. Nothing new, he always finds a way to run away and find me. I slowly made my way to the balcony, the music slowly fading in the distance. The moment I closed the door, All sound was blocked. I took in the night sky, the cool breeze. "And here I thought that it would be hard for you to find me plus avoiding all these people." He chuckled at me. I turned around.

"It's good to see that you're still alive, Issac."

He grinned at me with his hands in his pocket. "I missed you so much, Zara." He hugged me and sighed. "How's Theron? How are the girls? Does Edrei still remember me?" I couldn't help but smile. "Theron misses you still, Edrei still remembers you, she asks when you're gonna come back from being dead and play detective with her." She may be smart but she still doesn't understand death very well. His smile dimmed. "I heard what he told me at my funeral, I just couldn't show my face- I-I wanted to run out there and give him the biggest hug." He gave a bitter laugh. "Look at me, bad ass mafia guy crying and talking about my feelings." He exhales before his eyes turned red and tears blurred them.

"I couldn't live knowing what I did behind his back. Even if it was to protect you. I hated seeing him suffer like that. I had to do something, even though I had to take my own life." He looked down before forcing a smile. "I'm not asking for much here, just- just tell him that I'm always with him. Don't let him forget about me." An unknown tear slipped out my eyes. "Yeah, yeah I can do that." A gentle kiss was placed on my head. "Thank you, Zara. I'll be watching over you guys."

With that he made his way out. I let go the breath I was holding. Goodbye Issac. Just then Theron walked in smiling. "I'm finally here baby." He grinned at me, causing me to smile. "Took you long enough." Theron winked at me before holding me close. "You know I was thinking about something for a while but I didn't have the guts to do it. I was too unstable back then but I've been getting better, thanks to a certain someone." I playfully rolled my eyes at him. "I wonder who that could be?" He chuckled. "It's Edrei, of course, she would always give me cookies and milk, sometimes she would bring me meals that she made all by herself."

I playfully hit him. "You're too much for me sometimes." Theron kissed my cheek. "As I was saying, now that I'm stable about everything now, there was something I wanted to ask you." I hummed in reply. I felt him release me and I turned around, almost shitting myself.  This wigga was down on one knee with a box in his hand. "Hell yes!" He laughed at me. "Could I at least finish my speech? I've been preparing this for a week."

"Hell yes!" I couldn't help but laugh at her excitement. "Could I at least finish my speech? I've been preparing this for a week." She grinned and nodded her head. "Sorry, please continue." She was so cute. " Zara, we have been through hell and back. I knew I was a dick for not telling you what was going on but if anything had happened to you then I would be good as dead. You are my heart and soul and without you, I would be a dead man walking. You gave me a beautiful, intelligent daughter and you take care of Willow like she was your own. You keep me going everyday. Since Issac passed away I know I wasn't the best to you but you kept on pushing me to be better. I can't thank you enough."

She smiled down at me as I continued. "You're the woman for me and I know that damn well. No other woman can handle me the way you do." She rolled her eyes. "What I'm trying to say is, will you marry me?" She nods her head. "Yes! A thousand times." I slipped the ring on her finger, giving it a gentle kiss, looking into her eyes, she cried. "Get up so I can give you a kiss." She grabbed my collar, pulling me to meet her lips. She was my lady now. "My fiance." She spoke on my lips. "I can't wait to show you off." She groaned. " Isn't that my job?" She scoffed. "I can't wait to walk into Edrei's school and shove this ring in Ms. Louis' face."

"Her principal?" She nods. "You're obviously stupid because she has been hitting on you for the last three months but you're so in love with me you couldn't see it." I honestly couldn't find the problem. "It bugs me because she thinks she can flirt with you because we aren't married." I rolled my eyes and hugged her. "Well we are now, so don't get all hot headed about this." She pecked my lips, grinning. "Fine, let's go get this girls and tell them the good news." With that we sneaked out the party and headed home.
