The haunted house- paw patrol Socky

Chapter 1

Rocky's POV

Everyone was playing volleyball on the beach. Me, Chase, Rubble, and Zuma were on one team, Skye, Tracker, Everest, and Marshall were on the other.

"Good luck pups!" Ryder said before blowing the whistle. Skye yipped and did a back flip kicking the volleyball with her back paws. "I GOT IT I GOT IT-" "AHHHHH! SPIDER!!!"Rubble screamed. He ran into the net after knocking everyone down.

"Really rubble??" Chase said. "Wow! And I thought I was the clumsy pup!"Marshall said laughing. "But there was a spider!" Rubble replied. We all laughed. There was an extra person laughing.

"Wow, your group can't even start a game of volleyball all because of a fear of a little bit. How do you manage to save adventure bay?" A familiar voice. "Achooo!" Chase sneezed.

I look up and see Mayor Humdinger walking towards us with his catastrophe crew. "Mayor humdinger, these pups face their fears when it comes to important missions!" Mayor goodway said.

"Ha! I bet they couldn't stand that haunted house that just got built down there for a day." Says Humdinger pointing to the haunted house. "I bet they could take it for a week!" Said Ryder. "Then I dare you to. Starting tomorrow, you pups will have things packed to spend a week at the haunted house!" Humdinger said. "Deal!" We said.

He snickered and walked away. "Pups! To the lookout!" Ryder said.

We all rush up the elevator and into the lookout.
"Paw patrol ready for action Ryder sir!" Chase said. "Pups! You all know why we're here. Humdinger has challenged us to spend the week at the haunted house. You will need to pack your stuff to make sure you have food, water, safety tools, sleeping bags, and other assentuals. You will be put into groups of two or three to go into the haunted house. Marshall, rubble, and zuma, you will be in one group. Chase, Rocky skye, you'll in another. Everest and Tracker, you will be in your group." Ryder said. We all cheered. All except for me of course. Why?

I'm in a group with Skye and Chase. Chase....chase...

What's wrong with Chase? I love him and all, he's like a brother to me, but here's my problem. Everyone knows about his crush on Skye. Everyone ships them together because Chase is the tough pup who is considered good to take care of Skye. But me? I love Skye. Chase knows that, but he told me not to get in between them.

I know he's my friend and all, and it'd be kinda bad of me to talk my best friends crush, but I love her, and love won't let me hold back. Nobody knows if Skye likes Chase back. She probably does. I mean, she never shows signs that she does...she doesn't hang around him as much as some others. But why would she choose me over him? Chase is the handsome pup who is serious but also knows how to have fun.

Me on the other hand, I'm just a grey pup who does recycling and has a dumb fear of water. But I won't let that stop me from trying.
