Blue Exorcist(The Werewolf Girl Book 5)

CHAPTER 1

Lindsey had no where to run, the only thing she could do was stay and fight. She let out a huge roar and was ready to attack. She took her stance and was about to pounce when the goblins started to explode. She then realized they were being shot by exorcist. After the goblins were gone she then found herself surrounded by exorcist with silver bullets that were ready to be shot.  Arthur A. Angel then stepped forward. " Hello Ms. Plasencia, or should I say demon..." She growled. "Now seeing as you are a werewolf I should kill you, but I'm not. Unfortunately Navatican has given the order to imprison you until further notice, though if you resist I have the pleasure in killing you right here and now." Lindsey wanted to fight, but she knew that she couldn't take them on while she was surrounded. " Now to make things easier we would like you to turn back to your human form." A cage was then lowered down from a helicopter and Arthur threw the clothes inside. She stepped in and the cage was locked. The helicopter the started to fly; Rin then opened his eyes one last time and saw Lindsey being taken away.

Rin then found himself laying in his bed; his arm was still sore. He saw Yukio sitting at his desk. " Yukio." He  turned to look at Rin. " Oh good your awake... Now we can discuss why you hid the fact Lindsey was a werewolf."

"Wow so much for brotherly love. No hey bro are you ok, or hey bro can I get you something, or hey.." " Rin!" Yukio said very sternly.  Rin sighed, " Ok, I knew she was a werewolf but the only reason I didn't tell you is because she wanted to do it, and only when she knew she could trust you. But it looks like you messed that up...Wait where is she anyway?" Yukio paused before saying anything.

"She is imprisoned right now in Navatican, and will later today be freed or executed." "What, why?!" " Because she's a werewolf Rin! You know how dangerous they are!" " So what me and you and I are both dangerous! Or did you forget because you don't have blue flames! And because of that you don't consider yourself a demon!" Yukio was speechless; Rin then got up and grabbed his shoes and walked towards the door. " You know if that is the case, then you seriously need to remember we'er both the sons of Satan, meaning you're a demon too and you will never be normal." Rin then slammed the door leaving Yukio alone.

Rin and the others all showed up for the trial except Yukio. Lindsey then came out with a orange jumpsuit and enchanted chains around her hands and legs. Lindsey was then escorted to the podium; from the corner of her eyes she saw her friends but didn't look at them. She felt as if she had deceived her friends and couldn't make eye contact. The councilman then rose.

" Lindsey Plasencia it has come to our attention that you are indeed a werewolf. Yet you risked exposer to all exorcist if caught. Now tell us, even with the knowledge of what might come of you, why did you come to this school?"

"When I was young my parents were killed by Akuma, the demon I have been hunting with the others. When he killed my parents I swore I would kill any demon who would harm someone, so no one would have to die or witness something as horrific as that." " How do we know that you and Akuma aren't working together and haven't made this story up so if you were caught we would pity you and set you free?" " I can assure you that is not the case."

" Hmm.. Well your story is sad, but I think you are still in need of a lawyer"

" Lawyer?" Mephisto then walked to     Lindseys side. " Greetings. Now as you all know Lindsey has not only attended the cram school, but the academy as well, and from what I have seen ,along with her teachers, she is a smart, kind, and well rounded person who couldn't be the monster you see her to be. As my first witness I call Rin Okumara to the stand."

Rin was then teleported to the stand while Lindsey stood next to him. " Rin when did you first discover she was a werewolf?"

" I found out on our first date. A demon came out of no where and Lindsey grabbed my sword so she could kill it. But she froze when she saw my flames; I then explained who I was and in return she did the same." " So on your first date, Lindsey tried to save her and you, considering that she only knew you for a few hours."

"Yes." " Ladies and gentlemen of the council, do you think if Lindsey was the monster you accused her to be, she would go out of her way to save Rin Okumara? I think not." " A very good testimony, but you are forgetting some things." Arthur then walked up from behind. " Rin Okumara, is it true that on several occasions demons have come to attack you and Lindsey?"  " Well yes, but I'm the son of Satan so I'm bound to attract a few things here and there." " That could be true, but how is it possible that it has happened every other occasion? Well there is only one way to make it possible, Lindsey calls upon these demons and saves the life of her so called friends, who will trust her only to betray them in the end for her own purposes."

" Thats not true!" She yelled. " Silence demon." " You don't talk to her that way!" Rin yelled. " Rin Okumara, please let's stay quiet and let me defend my client." Mephisto said nicely. Rin was then teleported back to his seat. " True, demons do come around more often then usual, but you must consider her work with the exorcist involving Akuma. She has gathered information, fought demons of Akuma. Our first encounter with Akuma was most certainly a dramatic and real situation. My next witness is Ryuji Suguro. Surguro was then at the stand. Mr. Surguro, on the night of the Halloween Dance did Lindsey seem she had any hostility, aggression, or true hate for Akuma?" " Yes she did. When she looked at him I saw a fiery rage inside her, I hadn't seen something like that since Rins encounter with Amaimon." "Now as we all know Mr. Suguro is a straight A student in the academy and the cram school, and is most trustworthy. I highly doubt he would lie." Suguro was then teleported to his seat.

CHAPTER 2

The hearing went on for hours, it was. then Arthur's turn once more. He came forward again. "Anyone can act, anyone can tell a story, anyone can. We do not have a full back story on Ms. Plasencia here, and even if she is willing to tell us we do not know if what she says is true. With that said I urge you to not take the chance and rid this world of this demon."

The councilman rose. " The council has decided that Lindsey Plasencia shall be executed." Rin and the others yelled.

"You can't do this!" Suguro yelled. " It's not fair" said Izumo.  The council was about to walk away when they heard a call from down the hall. " Wait, stop!!!"

Yukio then ran to the podium. " Yukio Okumara, well I must say I didn't expect you to show." said Mephisto. " I have here Lindsey's school records, adoption files and more. At no time would she could she have had a connection with Akuma due to the fact that attacks from Akuma never happened around the area she lived in. She also wouldn't have known how to contact a demon because she didn't join the program till her freshman year in the U.S."  The documents were teleported to the desk, and the council looked through the evidence. " It seems Mr. Okumara has found all the information you couldn't find Arthur A. Angel." Arthur stood silent. " We the council find Lindsey Plasencia innocent, but will be kept under surveillance by the exorcist." Lindsey's chains were taken off; she then walked towards Yukio. " Yukio..  why did you do that?" " Just because your a demon, it doesn't give me the right to judge you."

Yukio smiled at Rin as he walked towards them. Lindsey then ran towards Rin and jumped in his arms. She then turned to face Yukio. " Yukio, thank you." " Looks like your not a complete jerk after all." said Rin. Yukio gave him a annoyed look. " Lindsey with all that you've done I'd like you to (officially) be the Akuma case, meaning you will not be excluded from the missions as the others will be." " Are you serious?!" She said with excitement. "Yes." "Wait what about me?" asked Rin. "Unfortunately we have to bring your butt along." " Hey you should be grateful  I'm coming!" "Yes, along with the messes you make." Yukio said with a smile. " Why I odd a.." "Will you to stop. Come on, I wanna get out of these clothes and celebrate." They then walked out to join the others for a celebratory dinner, not knowing what was to come.
