I Can't Believe It (A Danny Sexbang adoption story)

Chapter 27

I woke up to a really loud alarm going off next to me. I bolted up in surprise and ended up falling on the floor with a grunt.

"What the hell.." I said under my breath as I got up and checked it. I then realized it was Arin's phone and dad was calling it.

"It totally worked!" Danny yelled, running into the bedroom and grabbing Arin's phone. I frowned at him as he turned to me and smirked. "Oh, don't be mad! you were the one who wouldn't get up!" he said defending himself.

"Ugh whatever, just get out so I can get changed." I said. he saluted at me and left the room. I chuckled and walked into my bathroom and took a nice shower.

When I got out I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around myself, and one for my hair. then I brushed my teeth and hair and things like that. I walked back into my bedroom and chose to wear a pair of purple, acid wash jeans, and a black 'I'm not so grump' t-shirt. I got changed and walked downstairs, smelling waffles.

"Hey there sleepy head! one or two waffles." Barry said in an apron and a spatula in hand.

"One is fine Barry, thank you." I said groggily.

"No probs."

I grabbed the waffles and sat at the table, taking a bit out of it. Danny walked in with a purple shirt and grey pants.

"This is so good Barry!" I exclaimed, making Barry chuckle.

"I'm glad you like it."

"Hey guuuurl, so I checked you into the school." dad said making me giggle.

"Cool, so when does it start?"

"Yah! cause I need my alone time sometimes!" Barry yelled, making me laugh.

"Um, 2 weeks from tomorrow. so it starts on a Tuesday." he said, figuring it out in his head.

I nodded and finished my waffle, then went upstairs. I went to my closet and changed into a pair of bright blue pants and a yellow and grey striped shirt, then noticed I got a text.

'Hey Abby! wanna meet me at the park at 10?'

I looked over and noticed the time. 9:55, I guess I better get going. I walked downstairs and said bye to my dad as I walked down the sidewalk to the park. when I got to the park I saw ally sitting on the slide.

"Hey dude! what's up?" I said, happy.

"Nothing much, just was on my way from the pharmacy to pick up my dads meds, then came here and texted you." she said.

"Your dad needs meds?" I said, regretting it afterwards.

"Ya... He's been pretty sick lately. the doctors say it's some rare des ease that doesn't cute easily. I just don't want to lose him yet. but he seems to be pulling through." she explained, making me feel sad. I hugged her, and we ended up sliding down the slide. we both giggled and got up, brushing ourselves off.

"Enough about my problems, how's your dad?" She asked, getting a happy spark of interest in her blue eyes.

"How about we go home and find out. I think he will be happy to meet my only friend." I said, smiling when I saw the humongous smile on her face.

"Sure! Oh I Just wanted to say, I hope you don't think I'm hanging out with you just to meet your dad or anything. I'm not that kind of person." she said defending herself.

"I know, you seem nice. I'm happy you're my friend, and I know you're not just using me to meet my dad." I said smiling and chuckling a bit.

A wash of relief swept over her face as we went on our way to my house.

That was probably a bad ending.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated in forever but with school and stress and stuff it makes it harder to get these out. I will try my hardest to get these out as soon as possible, but just bear with me...
