As you slowly gained consciousness, you felt a painful throbbing on your head. You gently rubbed it before opening your eyes finally. You were in an unfamiliar bedroom. It was fairly messy, reminding you of Sans’ room. However, almost everything in the room was either red, black, or gold. You knew who’s room you were in...but that would mean…
You rushed to the window at the edge of the room and looked out. It was snowing, almost like a blizzard, but it should have been summer.
“Snowdin...That creep took me back here?!” You questioned to yourself. You started to pace the room a little out of frustration. However, something by the bed caught your eye. It was a notebook...YOUR notebook. You gently picked it up along with the pencil beside it. You flipped through it until you found a page with just words on it.
Heya Doll, sorry for just up and kidnapping you, but you weren’t very cooperative. I really don’t want to hurt you, ok? It’s just that us others are kind of jealous! Some more than others of course, but you get my point. You will be staying with me for a while, so I brought some of your clothes too, they should be in the closet. Anyway, I’m running out of room so come downstairs when you wake up.
“For someone who sounds so angry and mean...and even said himself that he’s evil, he doesn’t really seem like that bad of a guy…” You admitted. You let out a sigh and went to the closet. Sure enough, a good amount of your clothing were in there. You picked out a new outfit and changed into it before making your way out of the room, carrying your notebook. You got out and looked down off of the little balcony to see Red sitting on the couch. You looked around, realizing that this house looked exactly like Sans’ down in the Underground, except that there were darker colors.
“Morning Doll~” Red called from on the couch. You frowned and just made your way down to him. You noticed that he was watching T.V., so you stood in front of the T.V. in his way. He looked up at you with a smile.
“Take me home,” You stated plainly. Red let out a laugh and shook his head.
“I’m not gonna do that Doll. The only time I’ll let you go is if one of the others force me to. And we agreed that Blue was gonna have you next, so this may be a while~” Red explained, winking at you in the end. You let out a frustrated huff of air before starting to storm to the door.
“If you’re not going to take me, I’ll just go home myself!” You stated. You were about to open the door when you felt a pressure on your chest. You looked down to see your soul glowing a bright red before you were slowly pulled back towards Red.
“I wouldn’t go out there if I were you. It was enough hell trying to convince Paps not to kill you, but I can’t control a whole mob of bloodthirsty monsters~ Besides, you’d get sick out there. It is blizzarding afterall!” Red explained. You growled softly and rolled your eyes.
“Fine…” You replied, sitting down on the couch, far away from Red. Red let out a small laugh as he tilted his head, looking at you.
“Awww~ Don’t wanna cuddle?~” Red teased
“Fuck no,” you stated plainly, crossing your arms. You two sat in silence for a while longer. Red just watched the T.V. Finally, you decided to break the silence.
“You said that I’m the only one out of all universes that never shows up, right?” You questioned.
“I already said that, didn’t I?” Red laughed. You glared at him and rolled your eyes.
“Yeah, well where’s Melody, huh? Why am I the only one being picked on when I haven’t seen Melody since I got here!” You protested. Red’s smile faded as he stopped laughing.
“That...that’s not something you will want the answer to.” Red mentioned. You let out a huff of frustration.
“What do you mean? She’s my best friend! Besides, I want to see how she acts in this universe.” You argued. Red let out a low growl.
“Sorry Doll, but I’m not taking you to her.” Red stated. You frown and stood up, putting your hands on your hips.
“Take me to her now! You can keep me in your world all you want, but at least let me see my best friend!” You commanded. Red let out a sigh before standing up.
“Fine, but don’t say I didn’t warn you,” Red mentioned. He snapped his fingers and a flash of red smoke surrounded the two of you. When it cleared, you frowned. You stood in the middle of a graveyard on the surface. You turned to Red and crossed your arms.
“I said to Melody, not a graveyard you bonehead!” You growled. Red rolled his eyes and pointed at a gravestone. You glared at him for a second before looking at the gravestone. You felt your heart drop as you read the words.
Here lies Melody Bell, 20XX-20XX
You let out a shaky sigh as you walked closer to the grave. You fell to your knees as you just stared at the gravestone.
“I told you it wasn’t something you wanted to know.” Red mentioned. You could feel tears falling down your face already.
“W-what happened to her?” You questioned.
“She killed herself.” Red stated bluntly. You quickly turned to look at him.
“What?!” You asked. Red rolled his eyes again as he crossed his arms.
“You heard what I said. She committed suicide! It is the same in every other universe except yours. The only reason your Melody is still alive is because of you. But you’re unnatural. You aren’t supposed to be there, and Melody was supposed to die, just like every other Melody.” Red explained.
“No…” You whispered, more tears falling down your cheeks. You put your hands on your face to cover your eyes.
“Oh grow up already. She’s alive in your world, ain’t she? You can’t save all of them!” Red argued. You couldn’t stop though, more tears just kept coming down your face. Red seemed to be getting impatient as he grabbed your arm to pull you up.
“Now come on, we’re going ho-” Red started before he was cut off.
“That is quite enough!” A female voice called. When the two looked, they saw a beautiful brunette haired woman. However, that wasn’t the surprising part….she had wings!
(Hey, sorry for the delay! I had to catch up on homework, so I didn’t have time to finish this chapter. But here it is! However, before you start questioning and guessing who the woman is, prepare to have your guesses shattered, because it’s not someone anyone will know.
