Bucky x Reader - War Will Not Split Us Apart - Part 3

A golden sunset started to sink behind the white land of Russia. Under the snow was a secret bunker, old and rusty as if it was left for dead. Vines and flowers grew around the door way making it look ancient and mysterious. Suddenly the entrance to the bunker opened. The light revealed a man with brown hair and snow white skin, he had a weak physic and crystal green eyes, he entered the bunker wearing thick black clothing and grasping a flashlight. Chamber by Chamber the man explored the rust bucket until he found the certain room he was looking for, labeled "214 & 215". He grinned greedily knowing something special was about to be uncovered. The door to the room was pushed open gently and standing before him was 2 functioning and frozen pods. Beside each of them was a heart beat monitor which showed strong living heart lines beeping away. "Finally after all this time" he spoke fluently in Russian. He used a bright red key card to open the pods. The doors opened letting out a bit of mist from each pod, in one pod was a tall male with a strong physic, brown hair, ocean blue eyes and a little bit of a stubble. In the other pod was a female, quite strong looking and with lovely curves, her (h/c) was (h/l) which suited her well, her (e/c) eyes looked out towards the old base thinking that they had been asleep for longer then 20 years. "what year is this" asked the tall man whilst looking at the weak and villainous man, "2014, soldiers" replied the weak man in confidence, "come on, the boss wants to see you, James and (Y/n)" he told them. All three left the bunker and climbed in a chopper to Brooklyn.

(Few hours Time skip)

All three entered a high tech building, both (Y/n) and James stunned by newer day technology. In front of them was a well dress man, he seemed quite wealthy and he looked mid fifties. "Here they are sir" said the weak man, "well done , meet me at 5:30pm and will discuss your payment" said the wealthy man, the weak man nodded in agreement and left the room. "welcome James and (Y/n). I am one of the new commanders for hydra, Alexander Pierce. You are to only report to me and nobody else. Betray hydra, we will hunt you down. is that clear~?" Alexander spoke. "yes sir" both replied . "that room there is where you will stay and this room i think you might enjoy" he smirked . he opened a door to a room covered wall to wall in weapons, armor and gadgets. "this is all your equipment that you are allowed to use, nobody else's . Just yours" he spoke. "get your selves ready and ill be waiting in the main hall for you" he said whilst leaving the room, leaving only you and James. "remember who i am?" James asked, "James who could i forget a face like yours" you replied, "how formal,not using my nickname" he said, "shut it Bucky!"you said sarcastically , he picked up a 5.7 usg and a colt R0991 (yay research pays off), you picked up the same smg but you also picked up a L96 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle. "why a sniper? your normally up front with me" he questioned, "your a lot stronger and you have a better physic than me" You replied, "don't worry James , Ill have your back" you assured him. You gave him a bullet proof vest and a pocket knife, "just in case you need it James" you smiled whilst leaving the room to join Alexander. He soon followed and it was time for your first mission, "one of our hydra spys got caught and is being taken to Queens in the matter of 3 hours on the route 678 (im not american so sorry if i get this highway shit wrong XD) and take out everyone in the car making sure no one will escape. The car that they are using is a silver BMW M2 but check before you shoot that its them. Thats your mission, from your record im not suspecting failure. A car is ready to take you to the location, (y/n) since you chose a sniper rifle you will be in a building next to the highway anything to go wrong with James you quickly help him, James you are to be the comander of this operation , you have 5 marksman to help but the strategy is up to you. everything is in your hands now"he spoke whilst leaving. You and James were on the COMS and had masks , to make it easier to target them and keep your identity hidden, you traveled to the nearest building to the highway whilst Buckly waited.

(time skip)

"Bucky sight on the car and target, its the .. target so you are ready to attack" you confirmed. "received that, on my way to the sight". in the matter of minutes James was above the car , "y/n shoot the tires" he said. You aimed down your sniper rifle and shot both tires, spinning the car . "y/n got a clear sight on the informers head?" he asked, "yep" you replied, "shoot then and ill take the 3 remaining people." he commanded , you shot another bullet killing the informer. But as the car glided down the highway a car door containing 3 people , "James, 3 people have broken out of the car" you said, "want me to push in?" you asked, "no, try killing them by the sniper, ill give you the word to push" he said. You shot a bullet barely missing them, you tried again but they were to quick, they guy with the shield deflected a bullet which nearly caught you. "James, the guy with the shield is clever. I can't shoot anymore bullet from up here" you informed him, "okay push in" he commanded. After he finished the sentence you rushed down the build and on to the streets, you saw Bucky fighting the guy with a shield, all 5 marksman laid heavy fire on the very tanned man which left you and the other female. You used your sniper to quickly injure the man still on the high way. Then you saw 5 of the marksmen lead dead on the ground, you quickly saw bucky being fought against two people, you shoot the ginger haired woman in the arm injuring her then you attacked the guy with the shield, you used your smg to lay pressure on the man but then your saw a bullet fly passes your head. You throw a taser device towards the woman, but you were to late, you fell to the ground feeling a electric impluses flow threw your body leaving you stunned. She took off your mask and James mask fell to the floor in pieces , "bucky? y/n?" asked the blonde man. "whos bucky" James said pretending that bucky wasnt his nickname. Both men stood there questioning each other. Suddenly a grenade was fired towards James, the grenade crashed into a car and blew up the whole think. Once the smoke had gone James was no where to be found.

You was in a cell , all around you were plain white walls and nothing but a bed and a sink. "nice to see you awake" said the enemy in your eyes, you stood up and faced the glass, "let me go you sick bastard" you shouted, "sick maybe, bastard that im not, but letting you go, that would be stupid commander (y/n) (y/l/n)." said Fury. "I'm not a commander" you laughed, "were a commander you mean"he said, some memories came back to your head, but you still believed he was bad. "Commanded 2,000 soldiers to fight for our country, highest marksman rank. 3 director of Shield" he told you. Started to remember more and more, "your favorite soldier, James Buchanan Barnes aka Bucky"......you stood there frozen...thats why you named James "Bucky".....your past life. "what happened to me?" you said starting to tear up , "memories cleared, brain washed you, then trained you like a puppet" said another man, "who...whos that" you questioned, unable to identify the voice, "Steven Rogers, Buck's friend" he said . "steve....Steven?" you questioned. You sat down on the bed, head in your hands. The cell unlocked and you remained still. Steve sat beside you, knowing your pain..."why me?"
