Jason was nervous and exited about what he was about to do.
He was about to propose to Piper!
He found her walking around camp looking bored."Hey Pipes!"he called, she turned around to look at him."Hey Jase!"She replied, her cute eyes staring right into him."what cha doing?"Piper asked.
"Just... er... hanging around?". Piper walked up to him and asked him"are you OK Jason? You seem a little nervous.". And that was when he got down on his knee and took out a small black box,"Piper McLean, will you marry me?"he asked, opening the box to reveal a golden ring with a beautiful diamond glittering on it, Piper sqeuled and exclaimed,"Yes! Of course Jason! I love you!"

That night Jason couldn't sleep, he was WAY to excited to even think about sleeping. Him and Piper were going to get married!
Then he heard people screaming.
Jason ran outside to see people crowding around one spot on the grass. "What happened!?"Jason asked. Annabeth ran to him, her expression one of terror"Piper! She was attacked!"she said shakily."Is she okay?!"asked Jason.
"No! She's bleeding to death like something stabbed her!" Jason ran as fast as he could and pushed through the crowd to see her, and it was horrific.
Her side had a knife blade sticking out at the end of an extremely bad cut, Piper was shaking in pain, the eyes on her pale face tight shut."Piper!" Jason gasped and held her weak, limp hand. She opened one eye a small amount. "Jason!"she sobbed"I-I love you!"She screamed in pain and then stopped, her breathing going silent as she looked at Jason for the last time in her life.
"J-Jason"she croaked"Good bye"Piper gasped and then lay still, her eyes, once so colourful now so dead,stared back at Jason...
