Stupid awkwardness

So today we had our annual Teachers vs Students volleyball game. So for this the whole school gathers up in the gym to watch the game. I walked in with my friends (let's pretend their names are Betty and Mary) Betty and Mary. So we go and sit sort of at the top of the bleachers but a couple rows down. (Let's pretend their names are Matthew and Billy) Above is sits Billy who was in my current class at the time.

So I'm sitting with Mary and Betty and all is well in the world when Billy's friend Matthew comes and sits next to him. Next to Billy is exactly one row behind me.

Backstory time. I was friends with Matthew for about three years then this whole dramatic thing happened with my friends so we don't talk anymore. Well now he has this whole drama with Betty because he likes her but she has rejected him like three times. So I was very awkward.

Very awkward. I refused to turn around because that's me. So I'm on my phone the whole time texting FerrisWheelsEtc and trying to get them to save me. They were sitting with my other friends three rows down from me. Those other friends made everything much worse because they kept turning around and looking at Matthew. He obviously saw this, I mean my friends were laughing and everything.

This went on for the whole game. In the middle of the game with my face bright red I was texting FerrisWheelsEtc about how I really wanted to write a poem. So me being my awkward self wrote a whole poem about what I was feeling at the moment on the bleacher sitting right in front on my ex best friend.

The worst part was that Billy knows everything that went down between us and could definitely sense my attitude forwards this seating arrangement.

Anyways I had to rant so bye.
