imagine this is you:
you put on your cute socks with strawberry's on them. do your hair, and brush your teeth. put on as little makeup as possible to show the real you.
out the door you go to try and make the world a better place.
you ride your bike to a small beach in la. there is lots of people around, of course because it's la.
outside is a wreck. polluted air flows around in the sky that was once a beautiful blue, something that was damaged by the tobacco millions are addicted to. garbage going into the sea that is home to millions of living things that have family's too.it is awful, hurts your heart to see the environment crumbling this way.
on your walk around you pick up some trash and recycle some plastic. anything helps. as you walk along the park a flyer on a cable post reads,
make the world a better place, join us June, 17th to save our environment and to prevent climate change from ruining billions of lives.
you grab the flyer, desperate to help the world change with everything you have and with the flyer in your hand you ride off into the sunlight back to your home.
tomorrow is the day to help you think. gn beautiful world.
the next day:
the sun rises, as usual. you get out of your bed. get some fresh fruit from the garden. you eat enough to fill yourself for a good few hours.
today's socks: dinosaurs uwu. you put them on quickly and do your daily routine as usual. you grab the flyer off your desk with the address to meet at. it's time to go.
"im leaving mom", you shout.
without a response you exit your door, hop on your bike and ride down the road.
you arrive at the meeting, happy to help in anyway. you look around. no one is my age you think. all older men and women. they all greet you kindly and you were excited to work with them but deep inside you were hoping someone your age would walk through that door.
and someone did. and let's just say uwu he stole that heart at first glance.
