"Stark, after EVERYTHING that's happened, you can't let it go and just call of the accords?!"
"Listen here Mr. Spangler, I may be the richest man alive, but I don't OWN the UN. I CAN'T call off the accords even if I wanted to, which I don't Ok?!"
The team had been arguing ever since Steve burst in demanding that Tony understand his point of view, which was about an hour ago, and Wanda was getting fed up with the arguing, it was too many loud thoughts screaming in her mind.
"GUYS!"
They all turned towards Natasha who was pointing to a red hole looking object in the ceiling, where what sounded like screaming could be heard.
"Is this Strange?"
"Yes but what does that have to do with why it's there?"
"No dipshit, I mean is this Strange's magic?"
"No, his is yellow, I have no idea-"
Tony was cut off when a body fell from the hole and cried out in pain, curling into a ball on the now bloody floor. Steve jumped and called his shield, holding it up in a defensive position, Natasha had jumped back to the rest of the group, Tony called his gauntlet, Sam called Red Wing over, Wanda flew up glaring at the figure, Bruce stayed as far away as he could, not wanting to hulk out in the tower, Vision looked ready to blast something if the need arose, and Peter, who had gotten there a few minutes ago, was debating whether or not to call his suit.
The figure sat up, cradling whatever was their arms close, a huge gash in their head bleeding profousley, they looked around them before freezing and looking in the teams direction. The team could now obviously identify them as a skeleton, but how they were moving and alive was something that confused Tony, The figure's face paled as the lights in their sockets shrunk to nothing but pinpricks. Steve had enough of this and charged at the figure with his shield pointed to shatter their skull. The figure screamed and turned their back, but before Steve could hit them, he was stopped by Tony standing in front of them.
"Steve stop! We know nothing at all about them!"
"Look at them Tony, don't they look threatening to you?! They're not even an alien!!"
Looking back at the figure, Tony saw that they were wearing a blue dress, stained with some blood from the cuts on their body, they were shaking and cradling a blood stained blanket in their arms that moved when the figure shifted. Then, It clicked in Tony's head.
"Steve stop! They're protecting a baby!"
Steve froze at those words and backed up, he had a soft spot for kids and could never harm one, no matter the species. He and Tony turned around to inspect the now terrified creature who was mumbling.
"Please, no more, just leave her, she had nothing to do with it, no! No more beatings, oh God."
Steve's heart clenched as her realized he almost killed someone who had been through a lot in their life. He sighed and kneeled in front of them, to which they shrunk back in fear.
"No! Please! She didn't do anything!"
He felt an overwhelming burning feeling run through his body, that radiated off of the stranger's choker in red waves. But it didn't hurt him, so he said nothing about it.
"It's ok, I'm sorry for trying to attack you. I've just seen so many aliens come through here and your appearance just alarmed me..... Let's start this over, can you tell me your name?"
The stranger looked up at Steve with fear clear as day in their eyes.
"B-break Point..."
"Ok Break, who is this?"
