"Don't be so picky man. Dianne already asked you out. Like the hottest girl in school. How can you say no to that?" Kevin nudged Hyunjoon by the arm.

Hyunjoon merely laughs and took a sip from his canned drink before responding to his friend. "If you think she's that hot. Then ask her out yourself so I don't have to reject her."

"Are you nuts? My girlfriend would kill me." His eyes widened. "But seriously, why not go big? It's the biggest party of the year and the hottest girl asked you out!"

The younger laughs and stares at the far distance behind his friend. An image of a girl appears faintly at the back of his head, her mid-length hair that falls right below her shoulders, her puffy cheeks, the way she holds her smile back when she's flustered, her cherry colored lips, her fragile figure contradicting her fiesty attitude.

He chuckles grinning at her cute figure in his mind and said "I already have my eyes on someone else."

Kevin made a face, "Who?" and he turns his head towards Hyunjoon's direction of gaze. Little did he know it was all in his head.

Hyunjoon took this opportunity to smack his empty can of drink on Kevin's head until it was crushed into something smaller. "None of your business."

"AH! ow! That hurt!" the elder whined holding the part of his head that was struck by a can. "Ya!"

Hyunjoon got up to his feet and slung his bag over his shoulder, "See you at the party hyung." He bids his aching friend farewell and headed off his way.

Kevin had no idea that Hyunjoon had been trying so hard for months to ask out someone else, he just couldn't form the courage to admit that it's difficult to get into this woman's heart and how skilled she was in playing hard to get. By being the school's heartthrob, struggling to get a girl is humiliating. But Hyunjoon didn't care, all he wanted was her.

Hyunjoon found her charming, how she isn't easily swayed by words, gifts, and flirting. So when time comes that she becomes his girlfriend, he'd know there's no way for her to fall for another man. To him she was just dazzling and most likely perfect.

Speaking of that woman, there she was standing by the bus stop with her phone on her hand busily swiping through the notifications.

The boy smiles to himself with a stare of admiration for his girl, or soon to be his at least. He brought out his phone to give her phone a ring.

[Y/N] took a short moment to pause on her current activities before deciding to answer his call.

"What?" Her short response echoed through his ears.

"Where are you?" Hyunjoon asks shoving one hand in the pocket of his jeans and leaning his back on a wall behind him.

She looked down at her feet. "Did you call just to interrogate me in to telling you my current location?"

"Yes. So where are you?"

He saw the bus arriving and waited for her reply but what he heard was a short, "Bye," followed by that familiar beep of ending a call.

The boy laughs to himself before staring at the bus passing by his direction and the sight of his girl by the window.

[Y/N] looks down at her phone receiving a text soon after the call ended and it was from the same person who called, Heo Hyunjoon, or which everyone preferred calling him as Hwall.
