I glanced at the girls then back to Dante. Everyone seemed to know each other which meant only one thing, as usual I was the odd one out. Since my childhood I'd always been the outsider and had no friends. For a long time it seemed as though I was never able to even have friends, it was always my video games and anime.

"Sebastian! Were you paying attention" I was snapped out of my thoughts by Dantes voice. I whipped my head up and looked at him.

"No sorry Dante," I pause for a moment earning a concerned look from lady and trish. "I was thinking about.. how I ended up here." My voice was soft and emotionless. I looked down again and sighed. So many things had happened so fast and now I'm just trying to make the best of it. I felt a hand lay on my shoulder and looked up to the contact. My eye widened as I looked up to see the softly chiseled features of dante and he was smiling at me. It wasnt much of a smile more of an awkward smile trying to be a good person smile but a smile more than anything.

"Sebastian, you don't need to worry okay? I'll help you and then we can get you home." His voice holding slight encouragement reminded me of my mother. Though I new this playboy was just being a good person by helping it's still really made this not a lost cause.

I nodded and smiled back but then step back. This almost seemed to pain dante but I didn't really care. I couldn't get Comfortable here or get attached to the world so I'd make the most of it.

"Dante, let's drop this topic alright. It's getting late and you need recovery time. You ladies should go home and I'm gonna find a place to stay for the night." The ladies nodded but dante just stared at me slightly angry? Upset? I couldn't tell really.

"You can stay here Sebastian. I have a spare room." Dantes word were almost cold and demanding, his gaze never left the angry furrow and his body language added up that I was probably just going to piss him off more if I didnt stay.

"Fine, but dante," I paused watching his reaction as I walked forward. His look changed from angry so a smirk like he had won, "I'm only staying cause I need someplace, not because of you." I walked past him and up the stairs waving goodbye to the girls and disappeared upstairs. I walked down the narrow hall and found 4 rooms, curious I opened each one. The bathroom was medium sized had a shower and from what I had seen had recently been used. The porcelain throne was white and oddly clean. The next door lead to a library not very big but not small. It was filled to the brim with books and old demon skulls. When I closed the library I walked to open the next door. I laid my hand on the handle to turn it when I saw dantes hand lay over mine.

"This isnt your room, I wouldn't really go in there if I were you." His voice was low protecting. As if he were hiding his room from me.

"Alright overprotective of my things." I began to try and lift my hand but it didnt budge.

"Dante let go." I sighed. His hand hesitated then ungrasped mine. I stepped to the side not to run into dante and turned to walk to the other room.

"Sebastian." I heard his voice say quietly.

"Yes dante?"I didnt look back just listened.

"Gets some sleep." He then turned his door nob and I turned smirking at the man who was shorter than me.

"Right back at you." I then opened my door and headed in. I could tell this room hadn't been touched in forever. The bed was nicely made and the shelves were dusty. When I sat on the bed dust didnt Rise which to me meant the sheets were changed regularly. I fell back into the bed and sighed. How did I even get in this mess. I stripped everything off i hadn't slept like this in a long time. Though sleeping in the nude was healthy for you I had became self conscious about my body after a while. I had an scar across my back in the shape of a spider. The burn had healed but the scar still reminded of the night I got lost and taken by the man who did it. I crawled under the sheets and layed there staring at the ceiling and finally fell asleep.

The next morning there was a knock on my door. I got up threw on my boxers and the leather pants and walked to the door. Apon opening the door I saw dantes snowy hair and red coat.

"Well good morning dante." I smiled down at him in more of a cocky way than usual.

He looked up at me and just took some time to check me out, which I only let happen this once because I loved the feeling of knowing someone genuinely thought I was hot. I chuckled then turned and walked into my room and slipped my shirt on.

"What is it that you needed dante?" I smirked and looked back knowingly. He cleared his throat.

"I just wanted to let you know that it's time to start training." I could feel the awkwardness in the room and continued to get dressed. When I was done dante still stood there as if he needed something.

"Can I help you dante?" I chuckled out. He looked up then walked away acting as though he hadn't just watched me get dressed. I followed after him where he walked to a field in literally the middle of nowhere.

"Draw that sword of yours and let's get started." He pulled his sword off his back and I followed suit slightly afraid i was going to die.

Taking stance I place on a false layer of confidence. The process was the same each time. He'd attack I'd defend, that is till he change his pattern. He activated his devil trigger and came at me faster each time. I'd duck and dodge and he still kept coming until I finally threw my sword up to block his blade from piercing my chest and failed. I stood there stunned and slightly afraid.

"Sebastian!" Dantes voice sounded upset. I looked down at my chest to see the hole, it wasnt large but still held the shape of his blade. I began to get dizzy as I dropped to my knees. Everything began to fade to black. I remember hearing dantes voice one last time and everything going silent and dark.
