Alas, as you reached into your pocket for your keys, there was nothing. You panicked for a moment, doing that 'Shit where the fuck is my [object you knew you jut had].' In just a second you remembered that you had set them on the counter back at the store. "Fuck!" You exclaimed. Ryan looked over at you worryingly, "What's wrong?" You let your head hit your door. "I left my keys at the store."

_____________

In a tired rage you threw your hands up in defeat. Thinking over your options on how to proceed, only one solution seemed probable. You had to walk all the way back to the store and grab them.

After a few moments of staring at your door you huffed out a sigh and turned to walk away, setting yourself at a brisk pace. 'Are you fucking kidding me? I can't believe you (y/n). Why'd you have to go and leave your KEYS at the store? You've never done this before, you've always remembered. Well, maybe it was because you finally had someone to distract you. A welcome distraction I might add. I mean who wouldn't get caught up talking to him. He had this confident yet goofy air to him that would make anyone smile. God he's amazing, how did you even get so lucky as to meet him I mean-'

"(y/n)!" Ryan called

"What?" His voice called you back out of your thoughts. "I'm not letting you go back out there all by yourself, you will literally die, and believe you me, I don't want you to go dying on me." He smiled as he walked to you. "I have a bit of training Ryan, you're sweet to be worried but I can handle myself." You tired to walk away again but Ryan caught your arm. "You may have some weird ass ninja training or whatever," he chuckles, "but I don't want to chance it. It's late and it'll take forever to get there and back. Not to mention if someone took them you'd have walked all the way out there for nothing. Let's just..." he paused for a moment to think of a better solution, "Just stay the night at my place! We'll call up the guy at 7-11 and ask him to hold your keys somewhere safe until tomorrow and then we'll go back for them. How's that sound?" He looked hopefully into your eyes for a reply.

You blushed at the thought of sleeping in his apartment, though you guessed he had a spare room you could sleep in or at least a couch, the prospect was still new to you and a little to intimate for two people who had just met. Yet, with these concerns in mind, you still considered the offer.

Rocking back and forth on your feet, (as much as you could, really, with Ryan's hand still clutching onto your arm) you thought it over.

It would benefit you, as you were dead tired and needed to get some rest, but, you also barely knew Ryan. For all you know he could be a murderer, rapist or worse, a gamer. But your tired mind pushed these thoughts aside as you relented.

There was something in your head, also, something comforting telling you that he's harmless and that it really is fine that you would be staying at his place. You didn't have the mental strength at the moment to analyze this feeling, so you decided to just go with your intuition.

"If you are absolutely sure you're ok with that then... yeah, I guess I'm down." You looked up at him not realizing you were staring at the floor before hand. "Awesome, I don't really have a spare room since the other room is Matt's, but I do have a pull out couch you could sleep on. Or if you want you could sleep with me." He spoke before realizing how that may have sounded. "I mean like not 'sleep' with me but like sleep in my bed?" He said quickly, with a hint of regret at his steadfast approach. He had a slight blush hinting at his face, more than likely due to the embarrassment of the situation. He then evaded your gaze.
