"That's just sick. Why would he want to put cameras in our house? He's probably a big pervert, getting off to us." Someone knocked on the door then. "Stay here, and I'll deal with this." Jess nodded. "He-" Scar was cut off by a hand flipping her around and covering her mouth. She instantly turned her hair into fire and burned the person holding her. "Argh!" The man yelled and let go of Scar. She flipped around, not letting go of him with her hair, and screamed for Jess. "Is this the guy that made you put the cameras in the house?" Jess nodded slowly. Scar let go of the man and he fell to the floor. Flinching, he yelled, "What the hell is wrong with you? And you," he said, turning to Jess. "I told you I'd kill you if you told her! Why didn't you listen?!" Scar glared at him. "Don't you dare yell at her, you pervert!" He tried to get up, but Scar lit her hair up again, and he stayed put. "Why did you put cameras in our house?!" Jess demanded. "Because of her," he said, glaring at Scar. "I've heard of her power, and I wanted to see for myself. When I heard you tell her about me forcing you into putting the cameras up, I came in here to kill you. And luckily, my friends are in the van listening to all of this. COME ON IN, GUYS!" Four men ran into the house, all with guns pointing at Jess and Scar. "Jess, stay behind me!" Scar demanded. A man then ran to Scar, gun raised, yelling. Scar lit her hair up, but it was too late. The man hit Scar hard on the head with the butt of his gun, knocking her out.

When Scar woke up, she was in a chair in a dark room. She lit her hair up for some light. She was strapped down with apparently fire proof straps, next to an unconscious Jess. "Hello?" She called out. The man who forced Jess to put the cameras up walked up to her. "Well hello. I see you're awake. Now, I want you to answer a few questions. First, how did you get this, lovely hair?" He said, wrapping a strand around his finger. "How are you touching my hair?" Scar asked. "It's called fire proof gloves dear." She rolled her eyes and put out her hair. "Ah. You're so lovely without your hair on fire, you know that? Red hair and ice blue eyes go well together. Especially with your Irish accent. It's so sexy." Scar tried to pull her head away, but the straps were too tight. "Oh dear, don't try to escape. I'll make it simple: you can't. I'm just going to ask you a few simple questions, and then I'll be on my way." He turned and flipped his short blond hair in a way Scar thought was extremely stupid. Then, he backhanded her.
