We think that there is
So much that lies
Between the sun and the moon
The million light years
Or the annoying difference
Of the day and the night

But we never realise
That all that stands between them
Is the earth
The earth and its people, us

All that lies between the light and night
The moon and the sun
The idea and the success
Is us
Our feeble thoughts
And unnerving attempts

But maybe if we try
If we undraw the curtains of our eyes
Maybe if we open our minds and hearts
And souls
Well find the Luna to our Sol
