Greyhound racing banned in Florida = Massive need for adoption

Greyhound racing recently got banned in Florida and there will soon be up to 8000 greyhounds looking for homes. There will be an influx coming to Maine's placement center. We adopted a great greyhound from the Augusta placement shelter 3 years ago. They make great pets and are tame, rarely bark and adjust quickly to homes and retired life.  There are various shelters through the USA that have special Greyhound adoption shelters.  In Maine, you can visit www.greyhoundplacement.com
