chapter 9

(Mikis pov)

I left Akira with (Y/N), I told them goodbye so I could let them have time together. I go in the house it's quite, because Tanyo is doing something and mother and father are working. So I go to the kitchen to sit at the table and start to do my homework. I hear the front door open and then close, I see Akira walking in the kitchen. "So?" I start to say say as Akria turns his attention towards me "How is she?" I ask with a smile. Akira blushes a bright red on his cheeks "She's a nice person." he has something else on his mind. "I like her but as a friend."

And with that he heads upstairs but I go next door to talk to (Y/N). I knock on her door and a blond guy answers the door. "Hello. I'm Miki I live next door. Is (Y/N) home?" I ask "Yes she's here but she's sleeping right now." the blond responds "Thank you?" as I try to ask for his name. "I'm Ryo. I'm (Y/N)s boyfriend . "Oh." was all I could say as I left. 

And all I could think was 'poor Akira' I don't think I can tell him earthier. As I walk back inside to finish my homework and try to tell Akira that (Y/N)s taken.

(A few hours latter mikis pov)

I knock on Akiras door, and Akira opens his door. "Hey Miki. Whats up?" he asks as he steps aside to let me in. I walk in and sit on his bed as he closes the door. "Akira theirs something you should know." I Tell him. "Akira. (Y/N) is seeing someone." I told him and.  And he doesn't seem surprised by this. "Yea Miki I know." I looked at him surprised "But" he starts to add on "I've liked you for awhile." I look at Akira speechless until I open my mouth.

"Akira that's sweet of you. But I can't. I don't see you in that way. I'm sorry." He just sighs and mumbles. I leave his room not knowing what to do.
