Broken Hearts

Prologue

Avni looked at Neil with tear in her eyes while his face reflected back the same emotion she had.   She looked on frustrated and turned the other side drinking back her tears.

  'How can you even think I would do that to you Avni? You seriously thought I would do such a cheap act? I know you didn't love me neither did I... But we atleast had some relationship?!'   He looked on with hurt in his face while Avni looked elsewhere.  

'How can you cheat on me Neil? I know we had arranged marriage... We didn't like each other but how can you even think to do that? I know Juhi is your ex girlfriend you wanted to marry her but because of our family members this happened and we both couldn't even Deny. Iam so hurt Neil... But I can understand your situation also..  That's why I took this decision so that you live your life'  

A lone tear escaped Avni's eyes and she wiped it away bending down her head.  

"So Mr and Mrs khanna" The judge looked at both of them before looking back at the papers.  

Neela and prakash joined both their hands praying to god so that her children don't take any wrong decision but they already did.  

Shweta looked at them with hurt in her eyes. She glares at avni and turns her face the other side. Juhi held shweta's hand looking at everyone of them smirking.  
"Are you both sure with your decision?" The judge looked at both of them keenly   Neil rolled his fist into a tight ball and looked at Avni.

She closed her eyes clutching her Saree pallu tightly Nitting her inner cheeks to suppress her emotions.  

"Ah..." Avni breathed in and out trying to calm herself "Yes! Iam sure about my decision"   Avni replied with a straight face making Neil look at her with hurt visible in his eyes. His hurt face turned into a glare.   "Even Iam sure sir" Neil said in a high pitched voice making her look at him.

  She smiled slightly   'I know you still love her Neil and now Iam not regretting my decision'   Avni thought to herself before looking at Neela who was having tears in her eyes.  

"From today you both are freed from the husband wife relationship... You both are divorced, MS Mehta you will be no more adressed as Mrs Avni Neil khanna!"   The judge said looking at both of them and everyone left the place quietly leaving the two souls in their own little world.
