"*huff* *huff* I... can't... believe... I'm already late!!" Uraraka huffed as she collapsed onto a bench in the park. She took out her pink phone. 10:00. She was already a hour late. She was already lost. And it was only week before the big dance. And she still doesn't have a dress.
-A few days ago-
"Alright girls! Since it's only a week before the big dance.... why don't we go shopping?!" Mina exclaimed as the girls nodded their heads. "It will nice to have some fresh air." Momo said calmly. "Me and Tsuyu-chan are in need of a new dress." Jiro said as she wrapped her arm around to bring Tsuyu close to her. "Ribbit." Tsuyu said nodding her head. 'All of the girls actually have the money to buy new clothes... I guess I'll have to see what's inside my closet...' Uraraka sighed loudly as she looked out the window. "Oh!" Momo claps her hands together with a smile. "I'll buy us the outfits!" She said loudly. Uraraka was shook. She rapidly turned her head with shock. "R-really?! No matter the limit?" Uraraka screams. "There is always a limit." Momo said as she laid back into her seat. "I'm thinking of matching with Kaminari." Jiro said quietly with a flush. The girls nodded their heads. "It's cool that we can match. Then let's ask our pairs if they want to come." Hagakure said as she walked over to the matching respective boy partners. They all agreed. Except for Bakugou. Obviously. "HAH? You want me to go shopping? With you extras?! In your dreams!!" He laughed loudly, with many tears in his eyes.
-End of Flashback-
That laughing sent a cold shiver down Uraraka's back. She stood up to start running towards the mall. There stood the girls. The boys. And Bakugou? 'Why is Bakugou here?' Her eyes wandered before laying eyes on green hair. "Hey! Uraraka-san!!!" said Midoriya as he waved his hands in the air. She smiled and ran over to the door where Momo gave her a hearing. "Look! Everyone is here on time. And you were lost? Why didn't you text us? We are losing precious time!" Uraraka bowed in a Japanese formal way, on the knees, head down. Many stares were upon as Momo frantically told her to get up.
They head inside the huge shopping mall as the pairs split up respectively to find outfits. "Hmm...." Uraraka thought hard as she and Bakugou walked side by side. "Thanks for the Kirby Bakugou..." She said sweetly. "Oi. Roundface. You don't have enough money to buy a dress right?" That pierced her hard in the heart. She wasn't that poor. Was she? "I overheard your conversation with your parents after the battle... And then started cried. So I never came in..." Uraraka's head hang low. She kept on walking and walking until she bumped into a group of boys a few ages older than the two. "Ohohoho... what a looker here guys! Wanna come hang with us?" The leader came up to her, twirling a lock of her hair. She inched back with a disgusted face. "Aww... did I make you mad?" He said with a cocky voice.
Heat. Warmth. was all Uraraka felt on her back. "H-huh... you boys have it in for you now..." She said quietly before walking a little bit back. Above her, looking like a bird. Bakugou came crashing down with explosion. "GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER!!" The floor was soon burning before police officers watered it down. The two were released for the reason why they attacked. "As I was say-" "I'm not poor. I just want money so my parents could live the best life." She said with a austere look at Bakugou. He smirked and grabbed her hand. He dragged him all the way to a store named "Auroral Wave" in a fancy bold script. "My mom. Is a fashion designer. She made this store with my dad. Why don't you take a look?" He said calmly as he pushed her in.
'Glass Chandeliers, a red carpet, stairs?!' Uraraka was shook once again by the fanciness. She thought that a breath in and out was $1000. 'Damn. He got moneyyy.' She looked around as a similar look alike to Bakugou came up to her. "Welcome to Auroral Wave! How may I help you?" She said smiling at Uraraka's panicked face. She stuttered quietly.
"W-w-what is the cheapest dress here?" The store owner cocked her head. "Well..-" "OI. OLD HAG. WHAT DO YA THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" Bakugou stomped up to the owner who looks like she was in a bad mood. "First. You said you'll help me with the store. Then. You want to ditch while your father is out!!" 'Father? Then... she is... oh my god!! It's Bakugou's mother!!' She screamed in her head. She bowed politely before bringing her head up. "I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself! I'm Uraraka Ochako! I'm Bakugou's partner for the dance." Bakugou's mother eyed her son with anger "You didn't tell me that such a cute girl was your partner!!" Her rage was just like Bakugou's. 'Like mother. Like son.' She laughed quietly. She saw off into the corner. A dress. A light champagne color dress that flowed slowly down it looks like it covered the feet. The white roses of innocence.
It drawed Uraraka in. "You're not going to fucking wedding." "Oh shut up. It looks beautiful right? It's elegance, it's beauty, it's price- I SHOULDN'T EVEN BE BREATHING ON IT!" As her eyes wandered to the price, she jumped back, cowering behind Bakugou. Bakugou started to laugh, hiding it under his hands. 'Is THE Bakugou laughing? This is unusual?' She said looking over at him confused. "What. I can't fucking laugh?" "Bakugou, watch your mouth." "No." He stormed off to the other parts of the store.
"Now for you young lady." She turned to Uraraka eyeing her up and down. She nodded her head in satisfaction. "Do you like my son? I know he can be a handful but..." She stared at her reaction. Slowly yet steadily, she started to speak. "There's this guy. I really like him. Since we started school. I thought he liked me back. But now... it feels like he doesn't anymore. I think he just wants to be friends." As Uraraka story unfolds, Bakugou's mom eyes wander to where a Bakugou is hiding behind a dress, ears red. "So. I don't know yet. I need more time." She said unwavering. "Well all the time you need. Tell me when the final dance comes on. Then this dress will radiate under the full moon." Bakugou's mom gave her a wink, placing the dress swiftly into a bag. "It's on the house!" Uraraka's eyes widened but shone in happiness. "I have to repay you somehow!!" "Repay me by making my son happy!" They said their goodbyes and started to see the rest of the group up ahead. "That was really nice of your mom..." Uraraka said clutching the bag close to her chest. "Yeah I guess. After we eat... let's go for my matching suit." Bakugou said walking up faster than the girl. 'Matching? Did he just say matching?' Uraraka smiles at Bakugou as they both run to catch with the group, who is now heading to the food court.
As the story of the Perfect Dress comes to a close, will they find the suit that Bakugou is looking for?
