My parents had just told me that we were taking a trip to San Francisco, but the only bad thing is we would have to drive. From Kansas to California it would take a long time to get there. But i knew it would be worth it.
It's the night before the big trip. I start to pack my things and mark them off my checklist. " camera, check. Chargers, check. Movies to watch in the car, check".
When its time to wake up, i get up and brush my teeth. I head downstairs to eat my breakfast. My dad starts to load up all of our suitcases and bags. I get the car and throw my brown curly hair into a messy bun and get myself comfortable. Since im the only child, i get bored every once and a while.
We have been on the road for 2 hours and it is now 7:00 am. We have 14 more hours to go. As we drive, i admire all of the nature thats around me. Im so excited that i try to go to sleep to make the ride shorter.
When i wake up, we are in New Mexico. "We only have 3 hours left" my mom says. I didn't realize until we got there that my best friend, Audrie lives in San Francisco. She surprised me with a salted caramel frappachino from Starbucks.
The next morning i decided to go for a walk before lunch. Im walking to the golden gate bridge and i run into a boy that looks about 3 months older than me.
