Part 1

It's a nice day in LA. Sun shining so bright, wind blows my hair, all I can say is, this is definitely the most relaxing thing that ever happened to me.

I'm Kelsey Maurice, I won't say where I'm from, but just so you guys know, I live across the world from LA, but now I'm here, leaving everything I have in the place I called hell, I know I sound so mean, but you can't blame me, I keep on doing my best and trying to live my life the way people want me to do, but still all they see, is me being a burden to them.

So I packed everything I have, sell everything I own, just to go here, this isn't going to be easy, but I'm determined to be here and find happiness.

~phone rings~

"Hey auntie? How are you?" I answered the phone while waiting outside the airport for a taxi.

"Your mom told me you're coming, my house is packed at the moment, but I have this apartment unit that have a spare room, I'll try to tell the people there to clean it up for you." She said on the other line, I started to tap the tip of my black leather boots, and bitting a bit of my acrylic nails.

"Aunt, I'm sorry, I already booked a hotel room, for a month." I said, I hear her sigh obnoxiously.

"I told your mom that I'm going to take care of you, cancel that booking and go to the address I will send you." She said, I put my left hand on my forehead and sigh, I know this time I'll lose, cause if I disagree with this, mom will definitely follow me here.

"Okay, Okay, I will." I answered with a sigh.

"Okay, I just want you to know, I need you there to watch for my house, those people who rented that house, seems suspicious, cause they're all guys in mid ages, I don't know, I just don't feel comfortable going there weekly. Please watch it for aunt?" She said as she try to talk baby with the last words, I shrug to the thoughts of living with guys, and taking care of the house at the same time.

"Okay I will, but if something happens to me there, you're on that." I said, as I stomped one of my feet.

"Yeah, they look decent tho, I'm just worrying about what they're doing in my house." She said.

"Okay I'll wait for the address, can I ask one more favor?" I said while scratching the back of my head.

"Yes dear?" She said, my heart starts pounding.

"Can I borrow one of your cars?" I said, I waited for her to answer back, my heart started to pound faster as per every seconds.

"Of course, I'll send you one, tonight, Marty wants to see you too." She said with a slight giggle.

"Thank you." I said and ended the call.

I waited for my aunt to text me the address and after a second, a message popped up with the address.

Finally a taxi pulled up and the driver helped me put my luggage on the trunk, I hopped inside and show the driver the address my aunt send me, he nodded and started to drive off the highway.
