Colby's POV

It's Saturday, r I woke up hearing  loud music down stairs, that's probably Elton, I get up and take a shirt, walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face.

I walked to the hallway to see Kelsey's room door open, I know I closed it last time, so I sneak a peak and saw her sitting infront of her desktop, she's wearing a bright pastel pink fitted shirt and a blue sweatshorts, I see his feet dangling with black and white knee high socks, my heart beat faster than what it was, seeing her back is giving me tingly feelings all over my body.

I knocked once and she instantly looked around to see who it was, she saw me and smiled, she get up and walked to the door opening it more wider and making me come in.

"How are you?" I said, Sitting down the small couch she got at the end of her bed, she sat down beside me.

"I'm good, vacations awesome, after that baseball game." She said brushing both of her hands onto her thighs.

"You should've let me pick you up that night." I said.

"Nope, I don't want people to see us together. More issues, I don't want to ruin your career, and also I want to spend more time with myself." She said trying to lighten up the mood with smiling at me.

I gulped and say "I know this is so sudden, and all, but." I paused, examining her face, " What is it?" She said, tilting her head, "I , I want to ask you out on a date." I said, I did it. My heart is beating a million times faster, my palms are getting sweaty.

She looked back at me in shock, almost jaw drop, and she shake her head off.

"You barely know me, we've been living together for a week or so, how can you say that?" She said, I feel a ripped in my heart for a bit.

"I don't know, I just felt it." I said, she looked at me still confused.

"You probably need to get out more." She said and paused, " you need to hang out with girls, not me. You don't want me, your just saying that because, I live here, and we see each other often." She said, another ripped sound dings in my ears.

"Take chances." I whispered with my head down.

"Say what?" She said, I looked over to her and I can feel my face is all red now.

"Take chances with me." I said, she shake her head slowly, I grabbed both of her hands and squeezed it.

"If, If - that guy broke your heart, I won't. If - that guy left you, I won't. I'll make you happy, I'll give you happiness that you deserve, what you truly deserve." I said, she blushed, and tried to look the other way, but I grabbed her cheek and stare straight to her eyes.

"I'm scared." She whispered.

"I'm scared too." I whispered back.

"It's been years since it happened, I'm scared to lend someone my heart again, I'm scared you might slip and break it, I'm scared to know what happiness is with a person in my life again, I'm used to being alone in life, I'm scared to be in love with you." She said, my eyes are getting blurry with the water building up on both sides. This is the first time that I hear something so heartbreaking , and cried over it, I feel every emotion, every feelings she have with the words she said.

I grabbed her into a hug,"I'm scared too, we can be scared at the same time, but we can't let chances like this slipped away just because we're scared, it's okay if you don't love me yet, what I'm going to hold onto is that you like me back, and I'll help you grow that to love. I sound so cheesy right now, but I've never felt this way before with anybody else, yes, I got girls, girls that I got to hook up with, but no commitment, I'm saying this to you because I want you to know it first from me, I don't want you to know it from other people, I want to be true to you, I want you to know that you can trust me, and I trust you." I said, I felt her slowly hugging me as it tighten through out the moment.

"I like you Colby, I like you." She whispered beneath her breathe, clearly enough to let me feel warm and cozy with her.

We walked down the stairs to reveal a small party being held in the pool side, it's not starting tho, but Elton got back the diving cliff we got for a pool video, more new floaters, some are being pumped up by Jake and Aaron, a small bar on the right side witch is Sam is at, and some tables and chairs with fancy decorations, and a mini hula dancers in every table.

I want to hold her hand and tell everyone that we're going on a date, she said no because Elton is having a party tonight and people will come over, some are fans, and random people.

But we texted on the groupchat saying we have an announcement to make, but I has to be private, so maybe tomorrow, when all the guest get out , people will definitely have hangovers again like the last time, so yeah. We entered the poolside and Elton walked up to us.

"You guys are okay? You look like you cried?" He said pointing out to my eyes.

"Yeah we're good." I said, "should I wear 2 piece too? Or a Hawaiian hula dress? I got one!" Kelsey said like a little girl excited for a dress up, Elton let out a small laugh and say "well we need a beautiful hula waitress, think you can handle that?" He said, Kelsey jumped up and down clapping her hands at the same time.

"Okay okay, Amanda is helping you with it, Kat and Dev too when they finally got back here, they bought some coconut pops, and more party confetti, uhm, Colby can you help me set this lighting up?" She pushes me a bit and nodded, it made me giggle and then I walk on Elton's side going to the other side of the pool to help him out.
