Stan shoved the boy in the car and sped out of the parking lot. He glanced over at Saul who sat straight-backed and eyes as wide as they could possibly be. "You saw it didn't you?" Stan said. Saul was still speechless and kept his eyes on the road. Stan said some explicit and then drove way faster than the speed limit and slammed it to a stop in front of a small tea shop called "Bewitcha in a Minute". Stan hauled Saul out of the car. He threw the door to the shop open and marched to the counter. "Where is she?" He demanded out of the small young girl working the counter.

A brilliant looking woman came floating out from behind a blue curtain. Her smile dropped when she saw Stan, but returned when she saw her godson.

"Hecta- Harlow we have a problem." Stan said.

Harlow was this seemingly ageless beauty with bright blue eyes and caramel colored hair. She dressed in pressed cotton dresses like she was from the 40's and made addictive tea and cakes. She was always flawless, and people flocked to her shop on a daily basis. Her voice was similar to the sultry sounds of a jazzy piano. Her smile, sickly sweet much like her raspberry pastry puffs.

She was also Saul's godmother. Saul wasn't quite sure how Stan and Harlow were affiliated to be partners in his upbringing but they were.

Her eyes flashed with anger. "Saul darling have Brianna serve you some strawberry tea and those special baklava you like." she smiled and ruffled his hair. Saul stumbled away and sat at the counter. Harlow's brilliant eyes went back to Stan and turned dark. She pushed him behind the blue curtain.

"What did you do this time?" She hissed at Stan.

"He saw a-" Stan took a swift look at Saul, who was still wided eye staring at the collection of tea cups on the wall beside him.

"A 'eapingr-ay" Stan muttered under his breath.
"He saw a- oh no." Her eyes became panicked. "How could you allow this to happen?"
"Al asked me to pick him up, it just did."
"Well it's been nice knowing you, your going to hide down farther than you ever have to escape them."
"You think it will be that bad? Oh shit your right Al will never let this one go." He said becoming disheveled and older looking.
"Al? HA Dinah is the one I'd be worried about. She has the heavy hitters on her side."
"I gotta get outta here. Can you keep him?" Stan said. He pulled up his jacket sleeve and tapped his cufflinks.
"OH NO YOU DON'T! You are not leaving me here to deal with your mess." Harlow's eyes flashed purple and she threw out her hands that ripped the cufflinks from Stan's shirt. Stan's eyes turned to red and his hair steamed like fire was burning its ends.
"Look I'll keep him till Dinah comes to get him, but you have to go to his father and tell him what happened. And I suggest you do it before that reaper gets a chance to." Harlow hissed at him. He nodded, she put the cufflinks in her apron pocket. He grumbled and headed out the door and into his red El Camino

Harlow huffed and grabbed a jar that was marked with a old rune. She spied herself in a small hand mirror and saw that all the excitement had made her looked frazzled and haggish. She sighed and smoothed her hand across her head. With this simple move it looked as if a professional hair and makeup team had come to fix her up. She plastered on her award winning smile and went back to the counter.

Saul was still staring at the wall behind the counter. "Brianna, check on table 3" Harlow demanded. The small girl hurried off from the counter. "How about some more tea darling?" Harlow said to Saul, not waiting for a response she took his little blue cup. She turned away from him and sprinkled the contents of a vial into the tea. Her eyes flashed purple once again as she blew away the steam at the top of the cup.

"The perfect cup of tea for my perfect darling." She said. Saul grimace looking at her, wondering how she could be so calm. "Go on." She said. As if his arms couldn't control him, Saul drank the tea. With the sip of the tea he was suddenly starving. His mind no longer was on the events of an hour ago, but instead on how many baklavas he could get away with eating before Aunt Harlow made his switch to cucumber sandwiches.

The answer was four, which was 2 times more than the last time.

The phone rang its melodic tune, Harlow knew who it was even before it started ringing. Harlow cocked her head at Brianna to answer. Brianna said their typical greeting.
"Bewitcha in a Minute always has a minute for you, how might I bewitch you this afternoon?" She said in her high pitched soft voice.
"Yes, she will bewitcha in a minute." Brianna held out the phone to Harlow. "Who is it?" Harlow hissed, even though she already knew.
"I think it's his mother?" Brianna said squeaking slightly. Harlow snatched the phone from her. "Go clean the tables Brianna." She commanded and took a deep breath.
"This is Harlow." She said faking smiling even though no one could see her.
"Yes Dinah he is here..... Oh you know how Stan is.... He's fine, eating up the whole shop." She said still tense but winked at Saul. Saul knew it was his mother. Even her phone presence was imposing.
"We will be here." Harlow said into the phone before hanging up. "Your mother's on her way." She said her face drawn.
