Lilly:
Ryan and I got to school and went our separate ways to meet up with our friends. I walked over to my locker and gathered my stuff before going to meet up with Lizzie and Emily, aka my bfffls, best friends forever for life. I walked over to them, where they were already talking and laughing as usual.
"Hey."
"Hey girl," they both greeted in unison.
"What's up?"
"Oh nothing," Lizzie sighed, making it obvious that they were just talking about me.
"What were you two talking about."
"Oh nothing," Lizzie spoke, her voice going high at the end like it does when she's lying.
"Okay... spill," I demanded, looking toward Emily.
"Okayyy, fineee. We were just talking about how you and Noah totally have a thing for each other."
"Ewww I can't believe you two would even suggest that!" I spoke with disgust.
"Oh come onnn... you've known the guy you're whole life, it couldn't be more obvious," Lizzie gushed.
"No. No. Nopeaty Nope Nope. No," I dramatically expressed my disagreement.
"Oh, hush. You know it's trueee," Em sang.
"Puh-leasee. He's so annoying."
"Oh really? Give me two reasons why you think so, she challenged me.
"Okay fine. I'll do you one better and give you ten," I retorted.
"Okay go."
"Okay.. well let's see... he's rude, crude, annoying, loud, conceded, narcissistic, loud, annoying, did I mention annoying, has a bad personality, always has that stupid smirk on his face, not to mention, too full of himself to realize that no one actually thinks he's a freaking god, and-"
"Okay okay, you've made your point, geez woman. "
"Anyway, besides conspiring about how you think Mr. Jackass Evans and I belong together, what's new in your lives?"
Just then, the school's odd goofball, Jack decided to speak. "Hey! For the last time, it's pronounced 'ace' not 'ass' you incompetent fools," he hollered, oblivious to the fact that we weren't even talking to or about him.
Did I mention he also happens to be the smartest kid in school? Well, academically at least, socially, not so much. Anyway, the poor kid happens to be named Jack Asse, which is meant to be pronounced like 'ace,' but people like to mess with him and call him 'jackass' because well, he has the tendency to be one without realizing it. But regardless, we love the kid to death.
"Not talking about you Jack!" We all three hollered back.
"Well, either way, you ladies shouldn't be calling anyone an ass."
"Shut up jackass!" we all yelled in unison, fed up with his unnecessary commentary.
Just then, the warning bell rang and we all dispersed, hurrying to get to class before the tardy bell.
*Sorry for the short chapter, the next one should be longer... hopefully lol :p *
