I just want to preface this by saying a few things. First off:
OH. MY. BAJESUS.
THIS TOOK SO FREAKING LONG TO WRITE! THE STORY (not counting this extra crap) IS 40,365 WORDS LONG.
I would put the screenshot in to show you but Wattpad kicked me out of my own book everytime I tried -w- .
This is actually the first one shot I've ever written, and I thought it was only going to be around 5,000 words. Apparently not...
I actually had to copy most of the one shot (which took like ten minutes to copy btw, 100% serious), and then paste it in a Google doc to continue writing it, becuase the sheer amount of words had turned Wattpad into a power point slide.
Anyway, the prompt for this mini story was created by Kohai_Karma. Without their amazing idea, and permission to use it, this story would not exist. Go check out their work, especially if you like what's here. They somehow managed to write a Crossmare oneshot that is over 60K WORDS LONG, aswell as many other one shots. Trust me when I say that their writing is top notch. They also have an awesome art book which I also recommend lovers of Crossmare check out.
Karma, thanks again for giving me permission to make this one shot.
I also want to mention __Purple_Fluffball__ for being the sole reason I was introduced to Crossmare at all. It was their phenomenal stories that converted the closest thing I have to a religion. No introduction is necessary, but if you haven't heard of this author, crawl out from under your rock as I once did and go check out their stories. Good shit. That's all I'm going to say.
Well, I believe it is high time for the story to begin. So without further adieu, please enjoy...
