Cameron's POV

Sitting in the car as we drove over, Olive was telling me about the other young actors that were there, some my age, some not so much, but mostly, She was telling me to watch out. The recent media attention didn't really give me a good image right now, even though a lot of people have seen the security footage and know the truth.

Olive: "You know I'm only doing this for your own good."

Cameron: "I know Olive, and I'm greatful don't get me wrong. But I just don't really care. I'm young, I have no idea what I want to do with my life and I don't just want to follow my parents because that's what everyone thinks."

Mum: "You make your own choices, and you deal with the consequences. We have always raised you like that and cherished every choice you made because only you know what's best for you."

Dad: "This whole situation with Lauren, She will end up back in jail soon, So it won't Take long for it to be cleared up. The court date is set and that's when we strike. Until then, just enjoy your life."

Cameron: "I am trying, don't worry about that."

As we rode, talking small about the event, some of the faces we will see, Mjm and Dads famous friends who will also be there. It was interesting listening to them talk so animatedly about an event when none of us really cared in the end. They had speeches prepared just in case they won, and were ready for the night ahead. I was sticking with Olive, And I loved that I could. She was the closest I had to an outside family member, our own family begging money and wanting things from us when Mum and dad both got bigger. And I had nothing to dk with my actual grandparents seeing as apparently mum and dad both had a rough childhood with them wanting to pursue this line of work.

Cameron: "Are there any particularly bad people tonight I should watch out for?"

Mum: "Well..."

Cameron: "My age?"

Mum: "There is one girl but she won't be anywhere near us tonight, in fact I think she's a few tables over. And considering we will be too busy mingling amongst ourselves, I'd say we shouldn't need to worry."

When we got closer, I couldn't deny that I wasn't excited, it's not very often that we do get to go out and enjoy ourselves. But tonight is a good night. As we finally began to get closer, you could tell the town was ready for the awards night. With Cameras trying to get a decent photo on the inside of every car, and I feel like we were going to have plenty.

Olive: "Remember, just smile and pretend you can't hear a thing, they will try to ask you about the case as you walk. Head high, deep breaths and walk forward. Stop when your parents stop, walk when your parents walk."

Cameron: "Where will you be?"

Olive: "I'll meet you inside don't worry about that."

Cameron: "OK, I'll stick close to them."

Dad: "And if anyone tries to grab you, scream."

Cameron: "What? Dad come on."

Dad: "I'm dead serious. The implications it can bring up would be bad yes but you are still under 18, They wouldn't think about it if they had a brain but we can never bee too careful."

Luckily though, as the Limo arrived out the front of the building, cameras already flashing and Olive sitting firmly in her seat, My parents and I stepped out and were bombarded as security kept them in check behind the velvet rope... God those things were so a esthetically pleasing. Velvet rope... I might get some for my bed or decorate something with it. It's so shiny.
