I was in the locker room with my brothers as we watched the show in catering. Our match against Nikki Bella and The Wyatt Family was next.

We were sitting down when our cousin, Leati, and his teammates, Seth and Dean, sit by us. Awkward.

I scooted closer to Jonathan as Leati stared at me.

There's no issue with Seth or Dean but I'm not on good terms with Joe so I want to be as far away from him as possible.

But him choosing to sit right next to us definitely does not help me with that plan. But I do feel bad if this all makes Seth and Dean uncomfortable because they're actually great guys and complete sweethearts.

"Hey little cousins." Leati says.

"Hey." Josh and Jon say while I stay quiet.

"I want you three to get Trinity and leave as soon as you win your match." Leati says.

"Aright.. can we ask why?" Josh asks.

Leati then looks my way.

"Evolution and The Authority are gonna do anything to hurt us. Especially me because I have family in the business and I don't want anything to happen to you three. Especially you, Ina. Uncle Solofa would never forgive me if I let anything happen to you." Leati says.

I scoff.

He knows our issues and what he's done for me to feel the way I do but now he suddenly cares? Because he has to be told to by my father? By the family?

It almost feels like he thinks I can't handle myself, which I damn sure can.

"Leati, danger is part of our jobs. Wrestling isn't exactly a walk in the flower field! I could break my neck in my match tonight, I could fracture my arm in the next, there's always a chance of me being hurt in the ring." I say.

"Well excuse me for not wanting you to get really fucking hurt." Leati snaps.

"I'm sorry, but when the fuck exactly did you start giving a shit about me again?" I snap back.

"We'll leave after the match." Jon/Jimmy says, before Leati or I had a chance to further argue.

But I held his state as we both showed our irritation and annoyance.

I stand up and turn to Seth and Dean.

"You boys have a good match, tonight. I'm sorry every time I intend to have a good time with you two, it always ends with me storming off after a fight with this dumbass." I say before walking to the curtain.

Not long after I was joined by my twin brothers, whom were the current tag team champions.

(My book. The Shield does NOT break up. The story is in 2014 and Nikki is the divas champion.)

"He's just trying to protect you, Masi." Josh says.

"Yea, okay. Pain... injuries... it's what comes with being a professional wrestler. Dad and the family all tell me I'm amazing in the ring. That I can do it. That I'm strong enough. They all trained me. Uncle Leati and dad may have told you two and Roman to not let anything bad happen to me but I know they meant make sure the superstars don't hurt me or take advantage of me. They know I can handle myself. Dwayne and dad taught me first and I wrestled with Dwayne back in '04-'05." I say.

"We know you're more experienced, sis, ain't no one taking that away from you, ever. We're just lookin out for our lil sis and Joe was told to look out for his baby cousin. Just stay close, aright?" Jon asks.

I nod.

Our theme plays and we walk out. We do our entrance and he bell rings.

"And their opponents, from San Francisco, California, the team of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Jimmy, Jey, and Leila, The Usos!!" Lillian announces.

We slide in the ring and begin the match.

~Towards end of match~

I had Nikki down from Reincarnate and was turning to pin her when I felt a chair shot to my back, making me drop down into mat. The bell rang, signaling the disqualification.

I look over and saw Randy Orton and Triple H taking out my brothers while Batista fuckin beats me with this damn chair! And he's not being gentle or careful either.

He grabs me by my hair and powerbombs me hard onto the steal chair. I can feel a throbbing in my head and I hold it as I began hearing a ringing sound.

Then, I was grabbed and RKO'd into the steal chair. I can't move. This pain is too much. But they got me to my feet and I was speared into next week.

I saw them stand over me doing my cousins signature pose. I cough. Batista drilled that chair into my ribs, back, sides, and legs. But more so to my back and my head.

Jon and Josh crawl over to me and cradle me. Our heads together and our hands intertwined.

Evolution's theme was playing in the arena as Jon, Josh, and I were being checked on by the medical team.

I was the only one that had to be stretched out since I took and got the most injuries. Jon and Josh by my sides. Apologizing over and over again. They both looked scared, like they wanted to cry.

All the noises were faint but I could still hear what's going on.

"I'm ok, boys." I barely manage to get out.

"No you're not! We saw what happened on the replay!" Jon yells.

They were limping as they followed me on the stretcher.

We got to the back and they stretched me away where a whole bunch of superstars and divas were.

I heard a lot of gasps, murmurs, sympathy and then... Oh great.

"Leila? .. Masina!" Leati exclaims.

I heard him rush to my side then felt him grab my hand. I tried to wiggle my hand out of his but he wasn't having it.

Fucker.
Why does he have to be so damn strong?!

"What happened?!" Leati exclaims, moving my hair.

I tried to move away, but it hurt, so I just accepted it but I'm still fucking annoyed.

"Evolution interfered in our match and took us all out but Hunter beat Ina more with that damn chair. I think he wanted to send you a message. They're coming after the one person you care about most... Masina." Jon says.

"I'm gonna get them for this. Ok? I promise." Leati tells me.

I didn't look at him. I still haven't forgiven him.

"Masina, please, look at me." Leati says.

For some reason.... I did.

"I'm gonna get them for this... Then I'm gonna go to the hospital.. and I'm gonna be by your side the whole time. No matter what happens, I'll be there." He says.

I see the Joebear I love and miss. I nod and he kisses my hand before leaving a kiss on my head then I was wheeled away. Our hands slowly releasing before I was loaded into the back of the ambulance and rushed to a nearby hospital.
