chaper 1

"Agnes,its 8:00am school starts by 8:30"
My mum screamed from downstairs. I jumped off the bed to my bathroom ,I can't imagine going late to school on my first day. I washed up and wore my neatly ironed uniform ,carried my school bag and tied my hair into a pony tail . i ran down stairs, I could perceive my best food "pancakes" even if I was extremely late I still stuffed 2 pieces into my mouth

I wore my shoes and ran out of the house it was already 8:40 am "oh God who goes to school late on their first day
I got to school by 9 am ,I quickly ran to the principles office to get my necessary information

" good morning sir, am a transfer student; I came to......."
"Oh you most be the new student right" he cut in
"Yes sir "
"Your class is class b " he said his eyes still focused on a book placed on his table
"Thank you"

Now I have to find where my class is "why did I wake up so late " I said already feeling frustrated
Pweeh ,at last I found my class room

I straightened my skirt and hair and made sure my glasses were well placed.
I entered the class room ,since I was a shy person and everyone in the class were looking at me I had to look down.

The teacher was in the class already; she introduced me to the whole class and told me to sit beside a guy who was sleeping   "why would he be sleeping in class ". I sat beside him and brought my books out and I heard a voice from him " why did u follow me "
Wait he is not sleeping? And his voice seems too familiar!!

Daniels POV

The class door opened and a slim, average height girl  walked in looking down
"Isn't that Agnes " screamed internally
I was so shocked, I had to pretend has if I was sleeping. I heard her being introduced to the class and was told to sit on one empty seat ,since it was only the seat beside mine that was empty ,she has to sit with me .
Am doomed!!!

**flash back****

I was dragging my self home since I had a very exhausting day at school,then I heard a very loud noise from one of the class rooms . I heard voices of about 3 guys and a girl ,the girls voice was very faint like she as been screaming for long . I opened the door and saw 3 guys beating the girl up .I got confused "who do I start with ,I don't even know how to fight" I thought

And behold the girl being beaten is my long time crush ,Agnes.  Then I came out with a strategy,am going to try to run away with Agnes since I can't fight
I tried my best to punch them since they were stronger then me I was actually beaten up .
Since the focus was on me I expect Agnes to run away but she was to weak to even crawl .

I gathered strength to at least carry her and runaway but the force was to much. All of a sudden they stopped .I took the opportunity to carry her and run as fast as my leg can carry me ; I felt a sharp pain beside my waist .I didn't even bother looking, all I wanted was to escape, when I got to the stairs I started feeling dizzy ; looking at my waist my shirt was soaked with my own blood then I figured I was stabbed

I looked at Agnes who was still on my hands has already passed out .I managed to get to the gate ,my legs started giving up on me ,since the security has seen us and was running towards us . I dropped Agnes on the floor gently, she was conscious now cause she looked at me with her weak grey eyes
Though I was weak I smiled at her and then every thing become blurry and spinning around me ,seconds later I passed out
