PROLOGUE

"Get. Out. Of. My. Way.", I seeth out at the smirking, arrogant male in front of me. I attempt to push him aside but fail miserably as he sticks to the ground like a stubborn leech.
"Not so soon, Aurelia." he replies menacingly and pulls me by my wrist. His grip was so hard I was sure I'd get a nasty bruise later. I see his intense eyes dissolving into thin air and dissappear slowly. It's like watching a time travel.
What's happening?
Two green eyes appear suddenly in the dark surroundings. Nothing except the emaralds, moving slowly towards me, are visible in the space. They come so close that I could see dark specks sourrounding their irises. Suddenly, I feel a touch on my arm making me give out a whimper.
I look up. The green eyes have a comforting aura around them which make me get lost in a safe haven, staring closely at them.
"Close your eyes." a voice as soft as silk, says.
I slowly close my eyes and open them again, just to find myself inside a subway.
Was it just all my imagination?
I curse my stupidity and get inside the train.

This story had been just an idea inside my head that I thought of writing for quite a while. I would appreciate it if you read the rest of it :)
All the characters are fictional and if there is someone similar in reality, it'd just be pure, unharmed coincidence. There might be some hypothetical locations in the plot.
