Me, myself, and I. That's what I said I would do: not date. Ever. But of course that didn't work. Me being the bitch that I am, I had to go and like the hottest girl in school. WHYYY????
Somehow, I get it in my head that I'm done. My boyfriend leaves, leaving me depressed. Why does it have to be the hottest girl in school that I fall for? Monsé Jamel.
Monsé Jamel was THE HOTTEST girl in the school. Her cocoá brown skin that reflects not only the lights, but her extremely flirty, cute character. Her stunningly amazing moss-green eyes, soft on the color but piercing with eye contact. And her long, curly black hair that bounces and flips around as she walks. Sometimes I just want to wrap a lock around two fingers and tug, just gently...
"H-Hey Monsé." I smile, waving at her kindly.
"Hey!" Her voice is pricked with excitement. I get a quick swarm of butterflies as she flashes me that bright, thousand-dollar smile. "Josie, right?"
"Ye-yeah. Hey, um, I have a friend. Her name is Rachel," I say it like a question, hoping she could say, 'Oh, Rachel?' or at least, 'oh yeah, I know her.'
"She's just always trying to find things out. N-not that sh-she would say anything. I me-"
"Hey, um, are you ok?" She interrupts, tilting her head to the side as if she was inspecting me. "You seem quite nervous."
"Oh!" I exclaim, feeling my eyes widen.
Crap.
"Um, yeah, I'm fine," I tell her, plastering a smile through the embarrassment of feeling my cheeks flush.
"Like I was saying," I continue, shaking my head to try and clear my muddy thoughts. "my friend Rachel was wondering if you... were bisexual. Or, like girls. Whatever you prefer," I say. I feel like I'm ranting now. Or not making sense. Or hell, probably both.
Monsé raises her eyebrows, cocking her hips as her hair fell over her left shoulder. She let out a short chuckle, glancing down at her feet. "I, uh," She presses her lips together, her eyebrows now furrowing. "I-I'm actually a lesbian."
Shit.
"Oh, well," I laughed nervously, reaching up and rubbing my bicep on my opposite arm. "w-would you want to hang out sometime? You know, just to talk and get to know you and stuff."
She giggles, her lips turning upward.
"Of course," She says, bumping hips with me, knocking me slightly off balance. "Like a date?"
"What?" I feel my cheeks turn pink again. "N-no! Pssh, no." I laughed like an idiot.
"Oh." Her voice faltered and I feel a pang of disbelief. "So, I read this wrong then?"
A hint of disappointment wove its way through her words.
"No! Not at all. I just didn't know you looked at me like that," I reply sincerely. "I didn't even know you were into girls."
And that's when it started. When I realized I was slowly falling in love with the sexiest girl alive, and I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. I even became selfish as I walked through the halls next to her, all the boys staring at her like a fresh piece of meat.
Not even two months later, Monsé and I were an official couple. And it went pretty smooth. It played out like a relationship should, but then, suddenly, things tipped. A couple of weeks later, I found the both of us constantly pissed off and snappy. I thought that maybe making her want me would fix things. So I tried every chance I had to bring up sex, to be flirty, to be who she was.
Then finally, I saw an opportunity. My parents coming home late one night, so we would be all by ourselves. And I took it.
Five minutes went by, then fifteen... then twenty-five...
I could feel her hands running up my bare back as she kissed my neck, then my bra, then my stomach.
I lightly tugged her shirt. "I want this off...now"
"Hey, um, are you sure?" she asked hesitantly, looking me over with soft eyes.
"Yeah, I'm ready," I replied. Ready as I can be, I thought to myself.
Am I really about to do this?.....yeah, I am. I really love her. But what about Kris? What would he think? Eh, whatever. My parents aren't home. Live in the moment right?
A few minutes later, it was done. I had lost my virginity to the girl I was in love with. And then I told her that.
"Hey, I love you." I blurt.
"I love you, too." She says
OMG did she really just say that? I can't believe this!
"Oh shit!" Monsé jolted up from off her pillows beside me, her eyes wide with horror. My heart skipped a beat anxiously. Her head snapped to my direction. "What time is it?"
I glanced over at my desk clock, squinting to read it in the dim light.
"Um, 9:30." I respond. "Why?"
"I have 30 minutes to get home. And if I come home smelling sweaty, my parents won't let me out for seriously like, three weeks."
"Yikes," I hiss through my teeth. "strict much? Just use my shower."
"You're a lifesaver!" She squealed, throwing her arms around me. I smile, my eyes pouring into hers. The longer I stared into her beautiful eyes, all I could think was What just happened?
"Would you like to join me?" She asks seductively, running her insistent fingertips along my thigh. Well, why not? I thought.
"Sure," I replied with a cheesy grin.
I'm so sorry. The only thing I changed was the "I-I'm actually a closeted lesbian" sentence because if you noticed, Monsé is most definitely not closeted. So yeah. That's the only thing.
