Dust
By Kalon Cooper:
The first time that I realized
that dust was valuable
was when I was seven
and learned of death
was laid onto my family.
I was sad what dust represented
and learned it will not go away
but will stay and leave the burden that scars
but learning some made me crave for more
and I wanted and wanted.
So I asked and asked and was scared, shy, and full of emotions.
how much dust can affect a whole family.
I know to leave dust alone and let it sit and build
but doing this hurts
like fire and oil
leaving it can hurt the outside and the inside.
Our dust was safe and dangerous
just as much as a cup
will take great effect to your emotions
inside our hearts and in our'
heart like container
but was now confident
of knowing that taking this the safe way
will help me understand
of
how
much
I
love my sister.
reincarnation or not she will be in my heart.
