Malayo pa ako sa bar ng Enfer Tower Region ay dinig na dinig ko na ang mga nababasag na gamit.

  

“Bro not that one! That’s 100 years old wine!” Yan ang tagpong naabutan ko pagpasok ko sa loob. Hawak ni Flame ang kamay ni Creed na may hawak nung sinasabi nyang 100yr old na wine.

  

I scanned the whole room and there were so many shattered pieces of wines, glass and other liquors on the floor. Creed is a disaster right now. Lumapit ako para umawat na din.

  

“Creed enough. Tell us what’s your problem?” napasalampak sya sa sahig. Kami naman dalawa ni Flame wala ng nagawa kundi mapaupo nalang din sa tabi nya.

  

“She broke up with me...” sabi ni Creed habang nakayuko. Nagkatinginan kaming dalawa ni Flame.

  

“Bakit anong naging problema?” Tanong ni Flame. “I’m leaving for Massachusetts” We already know that, he wanted to take up masteral at Massachusetts.

  

“And then?” I asked. “She said she don’t want a long distance relationship. She made me choose between her and my dream.” laglag ang balikat ng pinsan ko. We all stayed silent for a while, finding right words.

  

“Para sa amin naman ‘tong gagawin ko diba? Bakit hindi nya ako kayang hintayin? That’s my dream, and I know it would take advantage for the both of us if I succeeded. There’s a lot of opportunity waiting for me if I reach that goal. Kaya hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit hindi nya ako kayang intindihin!” May tumulong luha sa mga mata nya.

  

If we are in a normal situation, we could’ve been bullying Creed for crying like this, but at this point of time it’s a serious matter. A mattet between his dream or his love.

  

“Bro, makipag ayos ka sakanya at piliin mo sya. Ang pangarap nandyan lang ‘yan, pero ang pagmamahal isang beses lang kakatok sayo, kapag nawala then nix.” sabi ni Flame. He’s wrong on that part.

  

“No couz. Chase your dream.” Nag angat ng mukha si Creed sakin, kumunot naman ang noo ni Flame.

  

“Opportunity only knock once, while love is just around. If you’re destined for each other, no matter how long you’d separate ways, you’ll end up bumping in a most unforeseen way. Love is jutting if it’s real fate.” Flame rolled his eyes, and Creed looked down on his feet.

  

“Kung talagang mahal ka nya, iintindihin nya ang desisyon mo. It’s not that I’m saying that Cel doesn’t love you. It’s just that love always come with grok. I know presence is important, but what matters the most is your feelings towards each other and keeping the jazz between your relationship, right?” Tangna para akong love guru nito!

 

Creed nodded and his lips formed a small smile. Napangiti na din ako. Wala ng nagawa si Flame. Pero may pahabol pa ang gago.

  

“Your words came like a devil-may-care. Congratulations, you have just ruined a perfect relationship.” sabay tayo nya at labas ng room. Problema non? Masyado kasing hopeless romantic kaya ayaw makakita ng mga nabubuwag na relasyon.
