"I know, see you tomorrow loverboy" I smiled and he grabbed my cheek in a cute gesture before she kissed me

"Maya?!" A woman said

"Mom?!"

Maya's POV.

"Maya!" My mother yelled.

"Mom!? What are you doing here?!"

I was so embarrassed.

"I was buying some food for later... Who is this handsome gentleman? " she looked drunk.

"I'm Lucas Ms. Hart" Lucas introduced himself and my mom put an arm around his neck.

"What are you doing?!" I yelled in frustration.

"Maya, calm down, I want to know who this handsome young boy is..." She started saying.

"He's my boyfriend, now if you'll excuse us..." Did I just say boyfriend?

"Okay, goodbye" my mother told us in a really sad tone.

Why would she embarrass me so much?

Lucas's POV.

Did Maya just call me her boyfriend?

"Uhh.. Lucas I'm sorry I called you my 'boyfriend' I needed to think quick and.." She started apologizing.

"I get it, it's okay"

"With some luck, she didn't notice that you were Lucas as in you Lucas" she said.

"Why not? I'd love her to see me as your boyfriend"

I took a chance

"Lucas I..." Heck.

"It's okay"

"No, I mean, listen, I'm not the kind of person who loves someone, I'm not the kind of person who trusts someone and I'm definitely not the kind of person who falls for someone, but I've never felt like this before, I feel like I'm flying all the time. I don't feel abandoned, everything feels right"

Was Maya actually saying this to me ?

"We should try, let's see what happens" I told her

She nodded and I bent on my knee playfully.

"Maya Hart, will you please be my something?" I asked.

"I'd love to be your something" she smiled

"And forget all the emotional sh*t I said or I will chop your head off loverboy" she laughed

"That's my girl" I said and we kissed.

It felt so right
