Pounding down the sidewalk
down the bend
around the lilac bush
Onto the deck
Throw yourself and
Breathe.
breaths
come slowly
softly
spiraling up to meet the empty sky
Void
of sun
and moon
and stars.
The sun loves the
Moon so much,
every
night
he
Dies to let her breathe
and you
die
to let him live.
Stolen laughter,
Puff!
Air snatched from your lungs
ahh, ahh,
nothing more beautiful
Drown in the stars
the dust of ancient galaxies.
let yourself
die
so
you can
breathe,
and
not
him.
