There once lived a boy who had trouble with trusting people, he didn't know how to talk to people, express his feelings so when someone asked to be his friend, he said no as he didn't know what to do, he didn't want to say yes and they laugh in his face, so he kept himself to himself. Until one day, he found his best friend, who later, became the love of his life. His name is Leo, and his friend is called Ryan.

Leo's POV:

I was walking the corridors to go to lunch, when someone came up to me and asked me to be their friend, I said no, I didn't want to say yes, I just politely declined the offer and then they smiled and said OK, it was obvious they were hurt, but I didn't want to say yes and they laugh in my face. I pushed the thought out of my head as to what could of happened if I said yes, and focused on my next lesson and walking to the lunch hall. I was so focused, I didn't even realise someone had bumped into me until they said something.

"Hey, are you OK?" They said, kneeling down to pick up their things.

"Huh, oh, yeah, sorry," I said, kneeling down to help them, picking up my things in the process.

"My name is, Ryan," he smiled, handing me my book about cats.

"My name is, Leo," I smiled, taking my book and putting it in my bag.

"Hey, I'm new around here, would you mind giving me a tour of the town after school please? I've asked a few people and they have turned me down, saying they are going out to a party or something," he smiled.

"Sure," I smiled. "Meet me at the entrance of the school at the end of the day," I added.

"Thanks, you're a legend," he smiled, handing me my drawing pad. "Oh, you draw? May I have a look please?" He asked nicely.

"Sure," I smiled, getting up. "Why don't we get lunch together and you can have a look whilst we eat?" I added, standing up.

"OK," he smiled, standing up and handing me my drawing pad.

"It's OK, keep it with you for now, but please give it back when you are finished," I smiled.

"Of course," he smiled. "Do you want to be friends?" He added, still smiling.

"Yes, I would like that," I smiled. I only said yes, as he was being nice to me and he seemed like a nice guy in general. "Do you have money to buy lunch or do you have your own lunch?" I added.

"I have money and lunch," he smiled. "What about you?" He added, looking at me.

"The same as you," I smiled at him. "Do you know where the lunch hall is?" I added.

"Uh, no, could you show me please?" He smiled.

"Sure, follow me," I smiled.

Ryan's POV:

I followed Leo and entered a big hall filled with students who were having their lunch break or just hanging out.

"Hey, what lessons do you have?" I asked.

"I have maths next," he smiled. "What about you?" He added, walking over to the food court.

"The same as you," I smiled.

"Oh, do you want to come back to my house after school and study together?" He smiled.

"Yeah, that would be great, thanks," I smiled, getting a tray and a plate and piling some food onto the plate.

"So, where are you from?" He smiled.

"Australia," I smiled.

"I want to go there," he smiled. "I want to see the Sydney Opera House," he added.

"It's beautiful," I smiled.

"Really?" He said, looking directly at me.

"Yeah, just like the sight in front of me," I smiled.

"Thank you," he blushed.

We spent the rest of lunch talking and going through his drawing pad, and then headed to our lesson and sat together. For the rest of the day, we stayed together and then went to his house at the end of the day.

"Leo, I need to tell you something," I said, when we had got to his room.

"What's that?" He smiled.

"I like you, I lied about being new, I have been at this school for a while now and fell in love with you," I smiled.

"I like you to. Also, I know you were lying," he smiled.

"Do you want to be my boyfriend?" I smiled.

"Yes," he smiled, running up to me and kissing me.

A few years later, Leo's POV:

Ryan and I had been together for three years now, we have moved in together and we haven't had a single argument, we have been there for each other when we are sad, and today is our three year anniversary and Ryan was taking me out for dinner and we were getting ready.

"You ready to go my lion?" He smiled.

"Yes my kitten," I smiled, taking his hand and walking down the stairs and out the door.

Half an hour later, Ryan's POV:

We had got to our destination and parked up and walked in and immediately got taken to our table. As soon as we sat down, a waiter came over with our food and drinks, I had ordered in advance as I wanted to surprise Leo with his favourite food, and a bottle of Moet, his favourite champagne.

An hour later, still Ryan's POV:

We had finished our food and I was ready to give Leo his present. I dug in my pocket and got out the box and proposed to him.

"YES!" He shouted, kissing me. Everyone clapped and cheered and we then left and went home and celebrated by inviting our friends for a party.

A year later we were happily married with a beautiful son that my ex girlfriend let us adopt after he was born.

The End.
