History
When she was born, Nozomi was instantly abandoned by her mother and father due to having inherited anemia from her mother and not wanting to deal with her condition. This left her in the care of her mother's sister and brother in law, Nozomi's aunt and uncle where they took her in and raised her as if she were their daughter.
As Nozomi grew older, she became more insecure and scared of what others would think about her condition and naturally low iron supply in her blood leading her to be homeschooled until she wanted to transfer to Lydian Music Academy to live the life of a "normal girl". As a result, her aunt and uncle sent an application form for the academy and Nozomi was miraculously accepted into the academy and allowed to move into the academy the next day since it was nearby where she lived causing the family to have a party to celebrate after Nozomi packed her bags however, the party soon ended with the sudden attack of Alca Noise which spared Nozomi due to having protection from this strange crystal her aunt and uncle gave her. Despite Nozomi being spared, the aliens killed her aunt, uncle and older cousin just as three girls in orange, blue and red mechanical outfits appeared but were too late and leaving Nozomi distraught by the sight of her family getting killed; the three girls who tired to save the family seeing Nozomi and asking if she's okay however Nozomi just shouts, swearing at them and telling them that they're responsible for her family's death.
A few months after this and having settled into living at Lydian, Nozomi has hold a large grudge for those three girls who - to her - caused the killing of her family who have took care of her, her entire life. However, one day, while walking to one of her classes, Nozomi collides into a girl from the class next door to her's in addition to being the next door "neighbour" of Nozomi. When she recognises Hibiki as one of the three girls who tried to save her family, Nozomi shoves her out the way and instantly swears at her just before an explosion happens outside of the school, causing Nozomi and Hibiki to rush outside - only to see a swarm of Alca Noise and a odd woman commanding the aliens to attack the school only for Hibiki to transform into her mechanical outfit and destroy the Alca Noise as Nozomi grows angry and clenches her fists to the point of unknowingly singing

Personality
A 17-year old girl born with anemia inherited from her mother, Nozomi is an insecure, slightly timid and highly emotional girl with a strong passion for singing and music. She is also not very intelligent in social situations due to the fact that her growing insecurity and anemic condition caused her to distance herself away from others while also having been homeschooled. Due to this, she has mostly lived her alone and often dreams of being a "normal girl".
Despite her anemic condition and insecure personality, Nozomi has a strong passion for music and song writing/singing - wanting to do something with this talent as her future career. However, she is unconfident and usually too shy to sing or share her lyrics.
