The8's pov

"Order number 13 for table 127." I hear my Coworker yell dining the bell. "On it!" I yell as I skate over to the counter and grab the large tray full of food.

"Sure you can carry all that." The person says. "Yeah don't worry, I'll be just fine, Seungkwan." I say skating off delivering the orders. At the restaurant I work at, I'm on roller skates, it makes it easier to move around quickly.

"See I told you I could handle it." I snicker skating back to the counter, handing the tray back over. "Is there anything you can't do." The counter lady teases. "I'm Xu Minghao, I can do anything Lea." I roll my eyes. "Your so Cocky." She says playfully punching me in the arm.

"Stop bickering you 2." Seungkwan calls out. "Oh shut up Diva Boo." Lea says. "How rude." Seungkwan says walking back into the kitchen. "Order number 15, table 6." Seungkwan yells. The8 unlocks his skates and skates off again.

"Thank you, have a nice night." Lea waves to the last costumer as they exit the cafe. "Well that's a wrap, for tonight." Lea says falling onto the couch. "It's Seungkwan's night to clean." The8 says packing up his things. "Ugh why don't you stay and clean ever." Seungkwan groans, as he grabs the broom.

"You know I can't." The8 says. "Yes we know, and here, from my mom." Lea smiles softly handing me a bag. It was full of bread. "Aww thank you Lea, tell your mom I say thank you." I hug her, and then Seungkwan. "See you losers tomorrow." I wave as I skate out of the cafe door.

The moon was out tonight, giving the street a silver white glow, better than the ugly orange street lights, I was happy they didn't turn on till later this night. I skate into my neighbor.

"Hey Minghao." I hear a voice call. "Hello Mingyu." I wave back to my neighbor. Kim Mingyu moved to this neighbourhood 5 years ago, 1 year after 1 moved here. He met me and helped me improve my korean, since I usally got lost in translation.

"How was your day?" Mingyu smiles exposing his pointy canine teeth. "Same old same old, how's the dating life." The8 sighs leaning against the gate of Mingyu's yard. "Amazing how's still being single." Mingyu teases.

"Screw you." The8 hisses as he skates his way over to his house. "Say hi to grandma Linda for me!" Mingyu waves. "Will do by Mingyu!" The8 waves as he unlocks his front door and enters in.

"What did I say about skates in the house!" The8's grandma Linda, lectures 10 seconds right after The8 entered the house. "Sorry Grandma." The8 apologies as he unties his skates leaving them by thr front door. "How was work sweetie." She asks as I walk into the living room.

"Same old same old." I smile kissing her cheek. The reason I flew down to Korea was to come watch over my grandma, she was diagnosed with cancer a couple of years ago. "Did that child Seungkwan finally get his gay butt a man?" She asks and my eyes widen.

"Grandma!" I scold. "What?!" She shrugs innocently. For a 70 year old Chinese lady, my grandma has the mind of a teenager. "Did he or did he not?" She asks again. "No Grandma, Seungkwan's single." The8 sighs. "Omo how hard is it to find a date. Ecpesially with those juicy buns like Seungkwan has." My Grandma rolls her eyes.

"Omg Grandma! And hey it's not like your not going to be able to find a date that easily, your too lazy to leave the house." The8 rolls his eyes back. "Umm no! If I recall your a stick in the mud and won't let me leave. 'no Grandma your sick.' 'You shouldn't be walking.' 'Let me do it for you.' I'm fine with leaving the house!" Grandma linda imitates.

"Hate to break it to you Grandma but your 70 you can't even recall what you had for breakfast." The8 says pulling put ingredients for dinner. "Your such a loser." She mumbles. "I am not!" The8 protests. "Yeah who goes by the name The8 and dabs?!" She says. "At least I didn't have an afro." The8 fires back.

"I taught you how to roller skate, and at least I didn't have cotton candy hair and ramen hair." She smirks. "And at least I can speak complete fluent korean." She crosses her arms and smirks. The8 however found himself without a comeback, just turned around and went back to preparing dinner.

"ROASTED!!!" She yells bursting into laughter. "Your so mean." The8 fake cries. "Awe come here my baby." She teases pulling the8 onto the chair with her. "I love you sweet pea." She says kissing his head. "I love you too." He sighs placing his head on her shoulder.

"Now go make me some food." She says pushing him off. "Ugh why me?!" He groans. "Find yourself a man who can cook and problem solved." She shrugs, simple fricken math bro. "Ok this discussion is over." The8 clears flustered.

"I always win." She snickers under her breath.
