[ This chapter will mainly focus on the start of the game. Like the very start with the cutscenes. So this will be kinda short. ]

I've always been able to see weird creatures around me that other people couldn't see. The creatures either looked extremely weird or human-like with some sorts of powers. I just think that they're some kind of hallucinations that came from the depths of my mind to pester me. It couldn't be anything supernatural. Those kinds of things are not real. Wait, where was I? I've gotten lost in my thoughts twice already on this page. I guess the book can wait. Just before I could put the large book onto my desk my mom shouted for me. I put the book onto the light brown desk and then I headed downstairs through the dark wood brown stairs.
"What?" I asked shouting when I was at the bottom of the stairs. My mom was waiting in the living room on the yellow sofa. My dad was with her. This must be really important.
"Well... We are going to have a new neighbor!" My mom said excitedly. Probably because she could make some new female friends. My dad stayed silent but you could notice a smile on his face.
"It's going to be a family of three. They have a son that's just your age! You could become great friends!" My mom continued with the same tone of excitement as a young child during their birthday party when they get a lot of presents. The exact same tone. My mom went on explaining that the family was all the way from Springdale and how far away it is and such. But I didn't listen to it as much as mom probably would've wanted. I didn't really care about new people moving next to us. People moved here all the time or at least it felt like it. My family also moved here a few years ago so it was nothing new to see people moving. When mom finally ended her endless ramblings I just stood up quietly saying OK and left to my room. It was 8 PM already and I didn't want to start messing with my sleep schedule so I turned off the lights and fell into a slumber not knowing what would wait for me.

A boy and his parents are sitting in a sukiyaki restaurant. The boy has two companions that his parents couldn't see. A ghost-like spirit and a cat with two tails with turquoise flames on the end of them. This boys name is Nate Adams and he wields a Yo-kai Watch. A watch that lets you see yo-kai. The ghost and the cat are called Whisper and Jibanyan respectively. They were having a feast. When Nate finished eating, his parents were quiet. They wanted to tell Nate something.
"I think we should tell him..." Nate's mom stated as she looked at her husband who is Nate's father. Nate and his yo-kai friends were confused. Tell Nate what?
"Huh? Tell me what? What is it?" Nate asked confusedly from his parents. He had no idea what they were going to say next. The two yo-kai next to him didn't have any idea either.
"Well... the thing is..." Nate's dad started to speak as if he was going to reveal something huge.
"I've got a new job!" He finished. Nate immediately asked where this new job was.
"All the way over in BBQ!" Nate's dad told him. So this was the big revelation."
"BBQ! But that's so far it's almost a whole other continent!" Nate stated. How could his dad work so far away but manage to come back home every day? Unless...
"We're moving...to BBQ! Think of this as an opportunity, Nate!" Nate's dad said and continued
"Let's go! A whole new adventure awaits us in BBQ!" Nate's dad stated excitedly.
"WHAAAAT?!" Nate was shocked. He did expect something but not news like this!
"Nyo way?!" Jibanyan chimed in as well for the confusion.
"What the-?!" As well as Whisper.
It felt like seconds between this event and the moment they stepped into the airplane that would lead them to BBQ. Would BBQ have yo-kai? Would it give adventures to remember? Nate wasn't sure about either question. He will only find out the answers in BBQ...

A car was slowly going through a barren wasteland. Something had just fallen into the area. And it was not something small either. Inside the car are two people...
"What was that blast... a crash landing?" A woman asked the other person in the car.
"Most intriguing." A man stated.
"Can't you drive faster, Blunder? At this rate, we won't be there until next week..." The woman stated to the man, whose name was Blunder.
"That just means that we have plenty of time to prepare ourselves!" Blunder stated to the woman.
"Great." The woman said.
"If my analysis is correct this will have far-reaching repercussions. Not just for this town, but for the whole world!" Blunder stated.
"Baseless theories aside, it is very strange, yes." The woman said while pulling up a pair of binoculars.
"What if it's just a bomb enthusiasts' convention?" The woman said while looking at the road in front of them with the binoculars.
"Haha, as unimaginative as ever, Folly." Blunder said to Folly, the woman.
"You have to rule out everything, you know." Blunder continued.
"It's your face I wish I could rule out, Blunder" Folly said while turning her binoculars to Blunder's face.
"Listen, Folly... The line of work that we're in... It goes hand in hand with danger." Blunder told Folly.
"But at the end of the day... We'll do absolutely everything we can to solve the Y Files!" Blunder continued as he pulled out the Y File.
"Fine..." Folly said and then continued.
"So what exactly does your analysis suggest?" Folly asked Blunder.
"Hmm, well, let's see. Certainly not a simple Level-1 or Level-2 case." Blunder started to explain.
"It's got to be at least a Level-4. Or even...
A Level-5!"
