Chapter 3: the day is today

Becca's POV

I woke up to Chris blasting will i am it's your birthday while I had poppy jumping on top of me and Emma holding a birthday breakfast you can't beat a bacon sandwich In the morning. Don't you just love your family when they spoil you on your so called 'special day'. After my yummy breakfast I was dragged down stairs by poppy where there was Emma, Chris, tess, maddy, tom, Ollie my 4 best mates failing with a surprise I ran and gave them all a hug

We all say round the sofa as I opened the thoughtful gifts from everyone

'Becca the dotty bag first you are opening my prezzie first' Ollie practically there it at me so I guess I have no choice then.

I opened it to find a dress I have been eyeing out for ages how does he know I don't know what to say "it's it's beautiful I don't know what to say.... Thank you so much Ollie" he came over and gave me a huge hug. "That's not all" with a huge grin on his face, he handed me a box I opened it to find a sparkly silver necklace that was half a heart that day forever "omg I love it you shouldn't spend so much money me, where's the other half??" He pulled out his keys with the opposite half that says friends "it's here, so whenever I open the house or go for a drive it will remind me of you"

"Oh you soppy bastard come here" I put my dress to the side and ran over and gave him a huge hug " am I going to put This necklace on my self ey" "course not give it here"

"Wow becca it looks stunning on you" Maddy screeched "thanks maddy, thanks so much Ollie love you lots" "lov......

"Love you 2 now my turn" oooohhhh toms jealous. He handed me a small sized box a silver love heart pink with all our names encrusted on it. "Oh tom I love it so much thanks you" I pounced on him like a puma and grab him and give lots of hugs.

"Eh hm what about us" tess looks in a mood as she points back and forth between Maddy and herself I walk over to the really long sofa and sat between my best friends from when I was 4 "okay I know it's not much but we have done it between ourself it's from the both of us"

I open up what seems 60 layers of wrapping paper to this big Massive scrap book I sit there for about half an hour going through every single page there are so many pages of pictures memory's and at the end is a my pandora bracelet I lost about 10 weeks ago now full of special charms. "I thought I lost that thank you. Your the best I love all of you so much I don't know how id live without you" we all had a group hug just the Emma walked in singing happy birthday bringing one of her home made chocolate cakes she makes especially for me with all sorts of my favourite chocolate on it everyone except me joined in "happy birthday to becca , happy birthday to you!! Hipp hipp hooray hipp hipp hooray" I blew out my candles and made a wish 'to meet my birth family to say in not mad but I want to know why' we say sat down and shared the best chocolate cake ever. We all sat an watched my favourite movie the lion king this is the life. Charli ran in an grabbed Emma. What was that for? Just before the good bit Chris ran in and unplugged the tv " hey what's that for we are watching that" "put it back on" tom moaned I would hate to think what he'd be like if he had his time of the month!!

"NO, because becca we have a surprise for you come this way and maddy, tess , tom and Ollie" he said with a mischievous grin across his face "oh god here we go" maddy moaned "tess come with me use go ahead will be out in a sec" "but.." Chris said with puppy dog eyes I ignored that "go on give us 5 mins "ok " they all piled out it was silent

Tess's POV

Does she know something's up have I made that Bait I know about her real mum trying to contact her. "Yes course I would" "Okay come on biach let's find them all". Thank god I didn't blurt anything else it's only 12 o'clock I can't ruin half way through her birthday.

Becca'a POV

Now that was wired I walked into the hallway tess followed me like a cat following a mouse and Emma put a blind fold over me "becca tom and Ollie are going to guide you outside ok" Emma tried to act all cool about what's about to happen but I hope it's something good. "Alright is this blindfold really needed it's so hard to move you boys are terrible at helping guide me" i was really getting angry now "sorry miss bossy pants don't worry just stand there". "Ok take your blindfold off in, " Chris started then everyone joined in "in, 5,4,3,2,1 open your eyes" I ripped the blind fold off and I could see my dream car a mini in pink with my name on and eyelashes a huge banner say 'happy 18th birthday becca '. "My.... Dream car pink , with .. My name and those eyelashes you guys are the best I love you so much" I ran straight for Emma and Chris and broke down in tears happy tears I hope

" here's the keys for when you PASS your drivers test" charli looked so jealous as she handed the keys over yes smug bitch.

"ITS TIME FOR A POOL PARTY" maddy screamed as we all ran in and got into are bikinis and shorts.

Everyone ran out and there was a knock at the door.

I opened the door to see a tall skinny figured lady very elegant

"Hi can I help you?" She was just gawping at me.

"Hi, I'm Karen ,Karen Payne" a British accent nice

"Do u need help?"

"I've come to find my adopted daughter .............. Becca"
