I found myself on my bed covered with a blanket and a note next to me.It was from Dad. "Went to the shops I'll be back soon"
I got up and got dressed it some blue jeans and a basic white top.I plaited my hair very loosely in a fishtail braid and went to get some breakfast.I made myself some cereal and sat down to watch some sponge bob.Strange for a 18year old huh?
Just moments later,I heard rustling of keys at the door.It was dad. "Hey sweetie haven't been too long haven't I?"asked dad setting the shopping bags on the table. "No dad don't worry I just woke up"I shouted beating the sound of the rustling bags.He gave me a slight nod and went to put his coat away.
My dad was a recluse,he wasn't an easy book to read. When my mother died he became very different-I still loved him though. He couldn't process this major event in his life.He knew he couldn't do anything since my mom had cancer:breast cancer.I also took it very bad-but father was worse.
"Hey Mal,I know I should trust you but I have to ask. Please don't tell me you've been messing with ghost stuff?"asked Father faintly.
"No dad.Ivy asked me but I declined..."I thought quickly considering if I should tell the rest of the details however I thought it would be better not to worry dad. "Good, good."answered dad, " some kids went to some ghost place and they've been missing from then." I thought about that statement.Father normally wouldn't care about things like this-it was suspicious.I finally got the courage to ask,"Why are you so 'interested' in this?"He opened his mouth in response but closed it the same speed as he opened his mouth. It looked like he was choosing his options very thoroughly.
