Chapter eight

"Are you alright?" Jennie walked inside Chaeyoung's room.

Chaeyoung wiped her tears quickly.

"Yeah, just got a bug stock on my eyes" she reasoned making Jennie roll her eyes and hug her at the back.

"Tell wifey everything" She cutely said as she rested her chin in Chaeyoung's shoulder. "Wifey is ready to listen to her Hubby".

Chaeyoung burst into tears and hug her back.

"I-I Don't know what I am doing right now!" She said as her tears continues to flow down her cheeks "I don't know why it hurts seeing him rejecting me, I don't know why it hurt so bad seeing him give attention to Tzuyu than me. Why Unnie!? Why does it hurt so bad!?"

Jennie calmed her down by rubbing her back. She looked at Chaeyoungs face.

"You are confused right?" Jennie said as she wiped the tears out of the Younger's face "He is also hurt, Chae" she said making Chaeyoung look at her in confusion.

"Wha-What do you mean?"

"Remember when you told everyone about Jimin?" Chaeyoung nodded "He was like someone just stabbed him right at the chest, I can see how broken he is, Chae" because of that Chaeyoung cried again.

"I-I didn't mean it,Unnie" she cried.

"I know you didn't, but It already happened. We have nothing to do with it now." She faced Chaeyoung with her sad face.

"What do I do now?" she asked Jennie slowly wiping her tears away.

"You still love him right?" Jennie asked out of the blue.

"I-..."

"I know you do, you always do" she said and give her a motherly smile.

"But Ji..."

"You're worried about Jimin" she cut her words.

Chaeyoung nodded.

"Tell him about it, he is a good and kind man. He'll understand, but you can break him. Jimin is so fragile, Chaeyoung. You know to yourself that he is so fragile" she reminded her.

Chaeyoung closed her eyes deeply thinking about it.

"I can't hurt him" she said "Jimin brought me back together, and this is what I'll repay him?"she asked Jennie.

"Think about it" she said and stand up "I know Jimin is a good man, listen to your heart don't let your mind overcome your emotions" she said and closed the door.

As soon as Jennie shut the door. She layed her back at her bed. Her mind started to flood questions but no one can answer it.

Ting!

Her phone lights up as a notification pops in.

From:Jungkook
~Can I meet you at 7/11 tonight?

She sighed in and think about it.

After what happened, she is thinking carefully on what she will reply to him.

Seconds pass, her phone lights up again.

From: Jungkook
~I need to talk to you. Please answer me. I am sorry about what happened, just let me talk to you for a while.

Jungkook's messages pinched her heart.

'Should I?'

She asked herself.

She faced her phone and typed.

To:Jungkook

She breathed deeply and hoped that her decision is right.

She opened her closet and looked for a warm clothes.

She grabbed her mask and sneaked out of the house. Everyone might be asleep, so she closed the door quietly.

She used Jisoo's car and drived slowly.

Minutes passed and she arrived at the 7/11 store. She saw a familiar figure sitting inside the store.

She walked inside the store with her face fully covered. She can't let Jungkook see her swollen face.

"Thank you for coming" Jungkook said, she just looked outside but she is all ears to him.

Jungkook cleared his throat.

"I am sorry" she slowly looked at him. His head is hanged low. "I know this sounds crazy but, I just can't stop this heart from beating only for you Chaeyoung" he said.

"I-I didn't mean it" she said to him.

Jungkook raised his head to look at her. He can't see her face but he knows she is crying.

"It's my fault, Chaeyoung" Jungkook said.

"No" she said "It's my fault because I didn't listen to my heart" she said, Jungkook was shocked about what she just said. "I don't know what I am saying but, I just realized that I still l-love you" she said to him.

Jungkook was speechless.

"I don't want to hurt Jimin's feelings, but this heart only speaks your name. It hurts seeing you ignoring and rejecting me. It hurts seeing you talk to someone else especially Tzuyu" she said as her voices slowly break.

"You know all the time that it's you right?" Jungkook reached for her hand.

She looked down.

"You know that It's always you, Chaeyoung" he said to her. He slowly lifted her head up to look at her eyes. "Everytime I see you walk with him hurts a lot, Everytime I see him hold your hands makes me want to die in pain".

"I'm sorry, Kookie" her words made him smile.

"You don't have to be sorry, Chaeyoungie." He said to him " And I am sorry for hurting you." They both look at each others eyes. Jungkook can't see her whole face but he knows she is smiling.

They exchange sorry and forgive each other.

Jungkook followed Chaeyoung until she arrived at their house. They both bid their goodbyes and bring home a smile to their faces.

Chaeyoung parked the car and sneaked inside the house.

As soon as she stepped inside, the lights were turned on.

Jimin.
