chapter 2: Case Unconsidered

While Isabel followed the jailer, she saw different juveniles
"Most of them are Innocent" she thought.
They got to the general's office, Mr Wilson, a poise and self confident man. Isabel didn't sight him quickly. She saw her beautiful mother but not her father.

" Why am I surprised. He definitely won't come".
she muttered under her breath.

Meanwhile, she wasn't wrong.
When Fred was told,
"Like mother, Like daughter.
You guys are birds of the same feathers. No offence but my butt ain't moving from this couch.
Before you go, get me a blanket"he said swiftly before resuming the video game.

Isabel's mom had the
"I can believe you got yourself in juvenile" look.
Isabel explained to her mom trying to make her understand.
She then went to the man in a suit.

"A child of your age should be in school playing hide and seek but sadly you're here in juvenile" Mr Wilson said ruefully while searching for an office file.
Isabel didn't reply, she just glared at him.
He took that as a clue to stop talking and then gave her a paper to write her side of the story.

Dear Sir,
This is a letter to ascertain myself innocent of the crime alleged. You must have been told I am a pupil of keitan preparatory who kindled fire in the school's dormitory. That is so not true.
I would not deny the fact that l used the female toilet and I went to the school's dormitory to lend a book from the library. I also had a lighter which I picked on the floor. All those are totally true.
I picked the lighter planning to give it to the headmistress as a "lost but found property". I dropped it on the "lost but found table" and started making my leave. I have no iota of idea the person who kindled the fire. This is a set up.
The doer of this must have studied my movements in order to frame me up this well. I didn't start the fire. Please make more interrogations. I hope my case is considered. Thank you.
