Out There

After about a minute, when Remus had run out of air and was getting a little woozy, he forced himself to pull away from his boyfriend.

Remus and Sirius had been secretly dating for a little over a year now, but somehow there were still in that primal honeymoon stage of their relationship. They were pretty sure it was because of all the sneaking around, it kept them on their toes.

They stared into each other's eyes for a moment, then Remus burst out in a fit of giggles and fell backwards on his bed.

Sirius, looking just a little worried asked, "What?"

"Gods," Remus shook as he giggled uncontrollably, "they r-r-really h-have no ide-e-a!"

With this Sirius began giggling as well, he fell forwards and onto Remus by accident, then quickly rolled to the side as not to crush the thin boy and continue giggling.

James, Lily, Peter and Sev all poked their heads in the door. When they saw the two boys simply giggling, they walked in.

"Hey, what's so funny?" Asked Lily's melodic voice.

Sirius scrambled for something, but Remus wipes away a few tears of laughter and smoothly lied, "I was telling Sirius about the very ... strange sight I walked into the Slytherin showers to see the other day," he trailed off, looking straight at Sev who blushed and put his head to the ground.

"Tell no one?" Remus asked Sirius, holding out a hand. Sirius and Remus shook.

"What was it?" Asked James.

Remus just shook his head. He placed a finger to his lips and whispered from behind it, "secret."

The clock in the dorm struck twelve, midnight. Frank called, "Hey I hate to break up your little party but," he paused to sit up then pointed at James, Lily, Peter, Sev, Remus, and Sirius in that order and said, "Herbology OWL's tomorrow, herbology OWL's tomorrow, DADA OWL's tomorrow, charms OWL's tomorrow, transfiguration OWL's tomorrow, astronomy OWL's tomorrow, and because of poor scheduling I have two OWL's crammed into one day! Luckily, one of them is herbology and I should finish that quick, but then I have potions! I'm rotten at potions!"

"You are going to have the weirdest kids ever, Frank, but I'm sure they'll be super cool. Probably end up marrying someone like Xeno." Remus remarked as he grabbed his bag. "C'mon Sev, we gotta go. As much as I hate to admit it, the future grandfather of a bunch of little Lovegoods is right."

Sev scrambled up and grabbed his books, running with Remus out the door just before the lamp Frank had thrown could hit them. He heard a muffled "reparo." From the inside and recognized Sirius's voice teasing him.

"C'mon man, don't lose your cool so easy."

Franks scoffed. He was the only one who knew about Sirius and Remus and had seen them making out many times before, therefore he knew it was often Sirius who lost his cool.

Sev and Remus ran though the common room, ignoring the stares of the three house-biased Gryffindors left. All the rest had accepted that Remus and Sev were now a part of life. These three always stayed up, making sure the Slytherins left and harassing them on the way out.

The group spotted them and sauntered over. The only girl, named Sami, greeted them rudely. "Fag. Snivellus."

Sev clenched his fists, but Remus stepped in front of him. "Sami. Isaiah. Mark. And his name is Severus. Mine is Remus. They're there for a reason." He grabbed Sev's hand and started pulling him towards the portrait hole. "C'mon, Sev, let's go."

"Got yourself a boyfriend, Remus?" Sami taunted.

"In fact he does." Sirius called from the top of the stairs. He sat on the railing and slid down quickly, dismounting gracefully next to Remus.

He grabbed the taller boys collar and yanked him down, pressing their bodies together in a passionate kiss. They pulled apart after a few moments and Remus faced the three bullies.

"You made our keeper (Sirius's actual position is unknown so sorry if you pictured something else) a fag!"

Remus kept his cool easily, but Sirius got mad.

"No he did not 'make me a fag,' I was gay before I even met him. And I know for a fact that you, Mark, were caught kissing a lad in the corridor by moaning Myrtle's bathroom and... well, doing a bit of moaning yourself. Mister Bones himself confirmed it. Don't act all high and mighty. And Sami, I really thought we could bond, be friends, or at least have to pretend to like each other because you and Sev are so obviously hot for each other." Then Sirius grabbed Remus's hand and called back to the other students, "Remus and Sev are staying tonight. Remus is sleeping up with us, Mark is going to go find Edgar because he's not a one night stand guy and they've been secretly dating for over three months, Isaiah is going to go back to his dorm, shut his face and not tell a soul about this, and Sev and Sami are going to sit in the common room until they work out their feelings for each other."

Once they entered the corridor contenting the dorms, Remus shoved Sirius to the wall and began attacking his neck with kisses and small bites, immediately smoothing them over with his tongue. "That was so hot."

Sirius shuddered with arousal. Eventually Remus pulled away and they went back to the dorm. When they walked in they decided with a look James and Peter should know. So they told them in the best possible way: Sirius grabbed Remus's collar once again and they shared another heated kiss. Sirius's legs came up and wrapped around Remus's waist.

James's mouth hung open. He kept making little shocking noises about every seven seconds. Peter was less shocked, more gagging. "Eww, guys, we don't wanna see that!"

Sirius pulled away from Remus, still remaining suspended from Remus's hips, giddy with delight. "Well you're gonna have to get used to it. We're a couple and not hiding it anymore."

"That's a shame." James said a coherent sentence for the first time in three minutes. Remus and Sirius shoot him questioning looks. "I mean, the whole school has been having biweekly meetings to make a plan to get you two together."

Remus smirked at the boy on his waist. "And we're going to let them. Can we hide just a little while longer, baby?" Remus asked Sirius first, who whimpered at the pet name and nodded. "You guys are not gonna tell anyone about this yet." His words were a command now.

The other boys quickly nodded, a bit scared or the threat in his voice. Then the boys went to bed. Lily has gone back to her dorm. Sev came back about fifteen minutes later, grinning like a fool. They had all built a giant fort on the floor and were sleeping inside it. They all layed down and went to sleep at 1:26 AM.
