"Koo Junhoe. You're surprised, aren't you? I'm actually nervous right now, but I have a confession to make." Junhoe was frozen in his spot. Of all the possible situations he could think of, this isn't one of them.
"I was about to make a spoken word of poetry but it's hard, I think I'm able to express myself more like this? Okay, let me start." She took a deep breath before continuing.
"It was exactly two years ago when I saw you at the park, you were writing with your eyebrows frowning. Ever since then, it became my life mission to know you more, to admire your beauty from afar. Little did I know, my mere attraction will turn into something bigger. Something that turned my life upside down." Junhoe noticed the tears unconsciously falling down on Chaeyoung's eyes and he realized his tears are falling down too.
"I just want you to know, that I love you so much. You believed in me when I was doubting myself. You cheered on me everytime there's challenges ahead of me. You became my home, Koo Junhoe. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for not getting tired of me. Thank you for staying. I'm sorry if I was acting up these past few days, it was all part of the plan. I knew it was shitty, and I am really sorry but I don't want my surprise to be revealed yet. And it added tension, didn't it?" She giggled. Junhoe can't help but let out a sigh of relief. He thought he was losing her for good.
"You might not know this, but this is the 100th day since the day our eyes met, and this is the 2nd anniversary of my admiration to you. Because of that, here's my surprise."
"Ever since the first time I've seen you perform, I started compiling your spoken word poetry. I've compiled 100 in total, including those poems you recite to me when it's just the two of us. That's why I ask you to send me copies sometimes, don't you remember? Anyways, I asked my dear oppa Kwon Jiyong, the writer you can't stop babbling about, to help me publish your works. Yes, he was the man I was meeting always. You should be jealous of me, since I ate with your idol many times already. He was very satisfied with your works, Junhoe-ya. I am so proud of you. As my gift to you, here's the original edition of your first book, love. Of course the publication house is still organizing the details, but here's the first draft. I hope you realize how much I love you." She ended her speech with a smile, joyful tears in her eyes.
"What, are you just going to stand there and gawk, or are you gonna go and kiss your girl?" He heard a girl's voice, probably Jisoo's. He didn't realize that her friends are here, together with his friends. He smiled before walking towards the stage, cupping her face with one hand while holding her waist with the other. It was one of the most memorable kisses they shared.
"Thank you for this, my Rosé. I love you so much." He whispered as he kissed her forehead. She can't help but wrap her arms around his waist, snuggling her face in Junhoe's neck. He laughed at her actions, pulling her closer.
It was a moment that not even poems nor flowery words can even describe how magical it was.
