I woke up Monday morning, aka first day at a new school. I got out of my bed and walked over to my new closet I finished arranging last night. I pulled out a blue tank with lace all over it, some plain denim shorts, black high top converse, and a heart necklace. I jumped in the shower and after straighten my brown long hair. I did a brown smokey eye shadow to make my eyes look even bluer, and a pinky nude lipstick and gloss.
I went down the stairs to the kitchen and my mom was making eggs, toast, and BACON! I love bacon so much! My mom knows the way to my heart. I sat down and she handed me a plate and a cup of coffee.
"So what's all this for?" I asked.
"Well its been three days and you haven't asked once why we left and I wanted to thank you, I wasn't ready to tell you but know I am." She sighed, "You're father cheated on me, with a 23 year old college girl." My mom admitted, I could see tears in her eyes.
"Oh Mom." I said right before I embraced her in a hug. "I love you mom."
"I love you too honey. Now hurry up and eat or you will be late."
After meeting the principal:
"Goodbye honey have a great first day." My mom said giving me a tight squeeze before heading out the door of the school to work. My mom got a job at a vet clinic she is reception lady.
I can do this. I tell myself turning around facing the hallway now full of high school students. It's just like my old school, freshman are new and a little scared, sophomores are okay, juniors think there so cool (I'm not like that), and seniors don't give a crap. It's one month in the school year, why did we have to move now? Well yeah my dad, but I would have preferred to have been home schooled then to try caching up on school and being the "new girl". Oh well.
I find my first class, math. I walk in and pick a seat at the back (I don't really like seating in the front) I sit down, and pull out my book. The teacher walks in, it's a guy like in he's 40s, and sits at the desk. There is still some people talking so he gives everyone a cold stare.
"Alright class settle down." He said pushing up his glasses continuing to stare at the class. "It seems we have a new student," he says looking at me, "Please stand and give us your name."
I stand up. "Savannah Morgan." I said looking at the class.
"Welcome Savannah."
Later:
I needed an after school activity, it was either a sport or dance. Duh, dance. I have been dancing since I was 4, I stopped at about 13 because my dad didn't like paying for it. I got to pick ballet or hip hop, I picked hip hop because I liked it better because I can feel the music.
I changed my shorts for plain black leggings and walked to my class with my backpack on my shoulder. When I got the the studio/classroom there was about 15 students and a female teacher leading a warm up. I put my backpack in one of the cubbies and threw my hair up into a messy bun.
I girl with blonde hair and blue eyes walked over to me. She was a little taller then me, I stand at about 5ft 3in and she was about 5ft 6in. She was wearing a pink muscle tank with a black sports bra, black and white patterned leggings, and blue, white and pink hip hop shoes.
"Hello, you must be Savannah, I'm Jordan Shepherd." She said smiling as she stuck out her hand, I shook it.
"How do you know my name?" I asked stretching.
"Oh sorry forgot to mention, I am the teachers daughter." She pointed to the female teacher who looked a little like her, the teacher waved at me and Jordan.
"Cool." I waved back and smiled at her Jordan.
"Okay class, everyone should be warmed up let's start, Savannah you can watch and then jump in whenever you are ready."
I went to the back of the room to watch. The teacher walked over to the stereo and started playing "Bo$$" by Fifth Harmony. The girls were the main focus of this song, the boys in the background.
I jumped in half way through, I was proud of my self because I was killing the choreography. Then Mrs. Shepherd noticed how good I was doing and asked me to come up with the girls. By the end of the song I knew all the choreography. We went though it one more time.
"Okay, water break." Mrs. Shepherd said to the whole class.
The classroom door shut and everybody looked at the door.
"Ah nice you could come Mr. Carson, but the class started 20 minutes ago." Mrs. Shepherd said sternly.
"So sorry Mrs. Shepherd, my dad again ." He said putting his stuff in one of the cubbies. He was wearing grey drop crotch sweat pants, a black tank top, red Converse, and a red snapback over his short brown hair. He was about 6ft tall and had blue eyes.
"We are on water break so you can warm up." Mrs. Shepherd said.
"That's Tyler Carson, he is probably the best guy dancer in the whole school, but his dad doesn't like him dancing so he doesn't get to put a lot of time into it. His dad wants him to be a lawyer." Jordan whispered into my ear before she took a huge gulp of water from her purple water bottle.
"And who is the best girl?" I asked.
"Well it was, me, but from seeing you dance we might have a tie." She said smiling.
"Thanks. I am a little rusty, I haven't danced in like four years." I said remembering back to when I was younger.
"Why not?" Her left brow raised in question.
I told her the whole story about my dad and me not being able to dance and told her about leaving him, I didn't tell her way we left she didn't need to know that.
"Awe I am sorry about you having to leave your dad." She said giving my a side hug.
"That's okay." I said hugging her back. I have a feeling me and Jordan are going to be great friends.

So that was chapter two, did you guys like Jordan? The picture is of the girl I choose to play Jordan, her name is Britt Robertson. Most of you will know her from "Avalon High", "Life Unexpected", "Under the Dome", " The Secret Circle" and lots more.
Just so you all know I have never been to school (I am homeschooled) and know nothing about dancing. If I wrote anything wrong about it please tell me.
